I'll give her an 8. The music is a 10. She was good that's about it. That crouching in a raspy voice and sparkly dress didn't hold up. She was at least half an octave off on many notes. She did a good version no doubt; But as a female vocalist...to handle this song...she would need more earth tones for power. And she had very little. It was only a soprano mimicking notes.

Honestly, I've heard better karaoke versions, her vibrato is annoying and for that judge to say she's one of the best singers he's ever heard reminds me why I no longer watch American Idol. Such BS. PS Steve...the only reason I watched this clip. He's phenomenal.
