The Brooklyn Dam impoundment has now been drawn down for approximately 9 months. The impoundment is starting to become heavily vegetated and the new river channel is establishing naturally throughout the old impoundment area.

Brooklyn Dam drawdown occurred approximately 9 months ago. The is the upstream portion starting at Vineyard Lake. Very little drawdown impacts are evident throughout this reach of stream.

The dam has now been drawn down for nearly 9 months. Vegetation is starting to establish and the stream channel appears to be stabilizing.

Drone video starting at Kedron Drain at School Street and flying up the River Raisin (impoundment has be de-watered for 6 months).

The Brooklyn Dam has been completely drawn down through the sluice gate in the concrete dam structure.
