Since both my Masters and Bachelors Degree's universities are recognized in the ANABIN portal with a grade of H+, can I apply for a Blue Card Visa directly from India or do I need to apply for an Employment Visa D-type first, travel to Germany, and then apply for a Blue Card Visa? 2) I went through a college in India that was affiliated by Anna University; does this mean that only the universities must be listed in the ANABIN to be recognised by it, or does it also mean that the affiliated institution must be listed in the Anabin portal for applying visa under of Blue card category?

Hi Lovish, I got an opportunity to work for German employer. My Salary is above the blue card category. Also my degree and institute is recognized in germany. I want to apply for visa, I can see “employment and dependent” and “blue card and dependent” category. Can I choose any one of these ? I want to apply for my spouse and children. Is it also fine if I choose “employment and dependent” visa category, as there is no slots available for “blue card and dependent” visa. I think my employer can apply for blue card in Germany. What’s your view on that.
