The Joint Office of Energy and Transportation was created through the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL) to facilitate collaboration between the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) and the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT). The Joint Office aligns resources and expertise to support the National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI) formula program, Charging and Fueling Infrastructure (CFI) grant program, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Clean School Bus awards, and Federal Transit Administration (FTA) Low or No Emission (Low-No) Vehicle Program, and more.
