Can you explain why democrats have a higher carbon footprint? Look at it by county and compare the same with the results of the last election…
It's interesting to consider how various factors, including political affiliations, can influence carbon footprints. Many aspects such as lifestyle choices, community infrastructure, and economic activities play a role in these differences.

I'm glad you enjoyed the interview! It's great to showcase the beautiful locations around Yale and New Haven while having meaningful conversations about the solar industry.
Lol yeah some hyenas shredding an antelope is symbiosis all right.
I guess some relationships are just a bit... one-sided, wouldn’t you say?
Thank you for great information
I'm glad you found the information helpful! Entrepreneurship has so many layers, and it's great to share insights.

I'm glad you found the information helpful! There's so much to explore in the world of entrepreneurship.
27:36 those oil profits came at the expense of climate change and exxon knew so we should fine and tax them to oblivion and change the laws to require renewable energy generation.
You've raised an important point about the impact of fossil fuel profits on climate change. It's crucial that we advocate for policies that promote renewable energy and hold corporations accountable.
thanks for keepin it 💯
Ironic
Thanks for watching! I appreciate your engagement, and I’d love to hear your thoughts on why you found it ironic!
Thank for making this video 🙏
I'm glad you found the video helpful! Plastic pollution is such an important issue to discuss.
Yes plastic is very very problem.
Absolutely, plastic pollution is a significant issue. It's important for all of us to take action and find sustainable alternatives.
No plastic no problems
Totally agree! Imagine a world without plastic-sounds awesome, right? Let’s make it happen!
Very interesting but what ideas do you bring on board to make the Osu Chieftaincy relevant in modern day Ghana.
Thank you for your thoughtful question! It's crucial to blend tradition with modern perspectives to ensure the Osu Chieftaincy remains significant in today's Ghana. Engaging the youth and incorporating sustainable practices could be a great start!
Brilliant young royal...most definitely a returning ancestor. And not a moment too soon when mediocrity is the norm.
Thank you for your thoughtful comment! It's inspiring to see young leaders like him stepping up during such crucial times.
Love this Guy, he is so knowledgeable and inspiring.
This guy is a thief and he is not Osu mantse this guy is fake police are looking for him
Thank you for your comment, we direct you to the official links in the video.
Why are you coming from? A bushman from the forest. How dare you insult a respected elder of the Osu people. Would you be able to give such comment about the Asantehene? I won't call you a fool, its a too good a word to describe you.
Let's stop abusing the word KING 👑. The abrofo will laugh at us he is Brilliant Young Chief though
Thank you for your comment. As hosts of the show we must use peoples official titles.
😂
Host: I was so impressed [(... Who the fuck cares?)] ... King Hrm Notse Nii Nortey Owuo IV: my people have been organized together for centuries ... Host: "your country is a young country," *Bodyguard's steadily detachment gaze flicks down at the imperialist who just blew his cover* Notice the King's interestingly-unaccented British English. Notice the he says he worked at investment banks... reeks of elitist...
Thank you for your comment, feedback is always acknowledged.
Brilliant young chief, hope the Osu people will not name other people as Osu chiefs, as happening all over in the Ga community. Sadly there is no consensus and unity in the Ga communities across board. Hope he'll be supported.
He is not the legitimate king of osu he is not from osu neither from owuo we he is an imposter brought by a suspended osiahene
He is not from osu neither from owuo we don't have a king in osu he is an imposter brought by the suspended osiahene who
Taking advice from Oil and gas companies on how to curb or stop climate change is like letting Jeffrey Epstein babysit your 14 y/o niece.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts! It’s crucial to have these conversations about who we should really be listening to in the fight against climate change.
Listen to a video entitled, a climate conversation
Lives in Switzerland, staycation in Hawaii for months. Doing that every year, round-trip air-travel and all the associated expenses of travel and having multiple residences - that is such a bad example for anyone who wants to be taken seriously about climate change. Ms. Vermilye is an example of the problems that are deeply dug in to our modern society.
Don't let perfect be the enemy of good. The net effect of this woman is good for the environment. Take any one person and I'll show you what they could do more. Also telling everyone they can't fly anymore will just lead to people saying 'forget it' and thinking that if radical changes in personal behaviour is the only answer then they may as well not make any changes at all.
Have'nt some these 'Great Economists' just distorted their understanding of economic events so they fit into the procrustean bed of their ideologies.
Well Done to GSE Technologies Malta for setting up this brilliant summit.
For more than forty years I have taught history and political economy. It is clear to me that humans have failed to solve the most serious cause of the main problems, by which I mean our treatment of the planet as an infinite source of natural resources that does not require systems maintenance. Groups of us claim sovereign control over some portion of the planet, that claim enforced by militarism. Within the sovereign territory the socio-political arrangement and institutions evolved to secure and protect privilege for a hierarchical elite. And, the mechanism to achieve a redistribution of wealth from producers to themselves as nonproducers is to reclassify the commons as private property, to reclassify the economic rent of land and nature generally as private and not societal income.
Almost everything you were comes from gas
50:00 Jevons paradox.
Quick question 'will we need property management executives in the transitioned world? if so, why don't you manage property better?'
All this seems suss. Something's wrong here.
Please elaborate
All the issues with EV's relate to the deliberate 'friction' the oil industry funds (like people like this guy right?). Charging infrastructure is still the number 1 issue for widescale EV adoption. Sort that out, so for example people in flats can charge at their homes on their household electricity bill, and an EV becomes a serious choice for most people.
France did that 50 years ago, large scale Nuclear is total insanity today, and Solar, wind and batteries can replace it 1000% quicker and cheaper in the meantime. Just sayin.
You can stay at home when ai replaces you
Battery EVs are the only rational solution. Burning stuff is stone-age technology.
We legislated on cfcs, why not ice cars? Hard decisions need to be made since we're running out of time.
The dogs dinner that we must negotiate is compressed into a shorter time scale, than is desirable, but must be digested. The betting the farm on technology advances, which are problematic, nuclear is old technology that might have to be considered for base load. The huge increase in CO2 and projected temperature rise of +2 oC upward. Will there be enough agricultural land to grow the fuel for diesel, and feed the population, as sea levels rise, hmm. Well EU food standards appear far higher than the US, the new ICE vehicle cut off of 2035 l hope is not compromised. Events in the biosphere and seas continue to exceed expectations, may force matters politically. What do l know, in the end.
Celebrating a 'victory' that is well within the margin of error.
😂😂😂😂😂
He's trying to convince everyone....his BULLSH!T...
In terms of energy efficiency, no internal combustion engine in existence can compete with an EV motor. There remains some specific use cases ( aviation for example) that electrification remain impractical but all in all this interview sounds like desperation and denial. Very powerful vested interests are triggered by this energy transition that will use every deciept, persuasion and coercion to continue to poison the global atmosphere, the industrial military complex would be one example.
I'm 5 minutes in and I'm a bit puzzled as to what he means by "technological advance". I can tell you from personal experience that the technological advancement in EVs has been pretty rapid, arguably encouraged by central authorities saying what should happen. Hopefully he will clarify later, but that was not a good opener. Edit: I'm having to watch this broken up due to life. I'm now at 36 minutes and he's talking about using nuclear power to make synthetic liquid fuels for vehicles, presumably to be used in a combustion engine as he seems to have a problem with changing the power train on vehicles. No problem with building lots of nuclear power stations, but changing the power train on the cars, that tend not to last as long as power stations, is too much of a problem. WHAT?! I do not know what this guy gets paid but my feeling is it's far too much. Does he not know the difference in energy efficiency between an ICE car and an EV? If not, why not? We would have to build over 3 times as many nuclear power stations to power the cars running on synthetic fuel as we would to power the EVs.
Some good points, but too much made of the potential negatives. If global warming continues to accelerate, acidification of the seas will do far more damage to the flora and fauna of the seas & oceans than the issues raised here.
This guy is so out of date with his information it’s not even funny! Who paid for this EV hit-job? Totally shameful.
Thanks for watching, but hey, everyone's entitled to their opinion, right?
Really interesting talk, I try to buy from sustainable companies over all other options when I have the option.
if we let in cheap £10K Chinese EVs then maybe we will get there. But that's politically unacceptable -)
It's definitely a complex issue with various considerations at play.
