The novel Doctor Zhivago was much different in some ways than the movie. For example, his half brother Yevgraf adored him and his poetry. Also in the book, Zhivago was married 3 times and the novel is less a love story like the movie and more of an intellectual critique of his times.
"horrible and depressing to all it affected". That's an extreme bit of western bias propaganda by this video's author. There are many in Russia who would trade the current oligarchs for the relative stability of the old USSR . Otherwise an interesting brief look at Boris Pasternak.
I think Pasternak was a great poet. He wasn't everybody's cup of tea but he was a unique writer nonetheless. I think that we don't know much about Pasternak except what he left in his writings. Thanks for posting this on YT.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR OPINION, OTHERS NEED TO HEAR IT AND DO THEIR RESEARCH. ALTHOUGH MANY BOOKS ARE NOW BANNED OF COURSE, THAT EXPOSE THE TRUTH.
