Kazuha didn't powercrept him btw. Powercreep meaning dling better. Kazuha don't have better CC than venti. People use Kazuha more due to several reasons 1. Kazuha's CC is more consistent because you can control it whike Venti auto targets. 2. Kazuha's buffing capabilities are making him unbeatable. Usung Kazuha neans getting more things insude a same character. Even if CC fails Kazuha's buff still works while if CC fails Venti is kind of useless

everyone is judging a fish by its ability to climb, why are we comparing him to other characters when the odds are literally stacked against his favor? would you judge kazuha by his ability to swirl geo? would you judge sucrose for her ability to be a subdps? then why are we judging venti by his ability to pull heavy mobs? venti does not fill in the same niche as all other anemo units, he has a niche of its own that no other anemo even comes close to. He is designed for wave clearing floors with multiple mobs that are scattered around. Yes, it's trivial, but he is so damn good at it that it doesn't matter. also, people think that only floor 12 matters in the abyss. I remember so many people complaining back then that they can't 3-star floor 11, well guess what, venti breezes through that floor with ease. Because given the right circumstances, venti is actually really good at his job. So It's not that he is not good anymore, it's just that the devs are purposely releasing more and more enemies against his favor in order to make other characters marketable, and idk about u but for a game to deliberately sabotage a character in order to make space for others doesn't ring any bells for u then i don't know what will

Kazuha and Wanderer pretty much replaced Venti, both in exploration and combat. Srsly, every time i play his character whenever he comes as a trial character, he just feels a worser version of Kazuha and Wanderer. The burst is the only thing he has going for but some enemies are immune to it. Plus Wanderer's black hole is just better lol

First Venti replace by Kazuha. Next will be Zhongli replace by Xilonen. Don't worry but soon Zhongli will suffered a lot (Xilonen do a lot of things)

I'd be perfectly fine with them giving him a new 5 star signature weapon. Bow that has EM as a secondary stat and "Upon triggering a Swirl reaction, the weapon user will grant all party members a 0.04% Elemental DMG Bonus to the element absorbed by Swirl for every point of Elemental Mastery he has for 8s." Literally give him Kazuha's passive as a 5 star weapon to make him more viable. 40% elemental DMG bonus at 1000 EM.

the reason venti only has a single story quest is intentional and not disrespectful he hasnt played all his cards yet.

Kazuha didnt replace Venti, he filled the same role as Sucrose being a anemo buffer that he also didnt replace because shes genuinely better at some situations, but coming back to Venti he still is the better character at his niche, no anemo unit has the same range and CC power as him. BUT the devs knew that having him being so dominant would make inviable to sell other anemo characters since he is a day 1 unit that the majority of the players have, so what they did? Increased the "weight" of the enemies following 1.6 like the Nobushi being slightly annoyed by wind, Specters immune to CC and the increasing amount of bosses on the abyss, they later went back and removed the immunity of Specters to CC but they still resist, so then you ask why cant Venti have a easy time with enemies anymore? Because the devs dont allow it, they specifically made enemies with just about the weight to not be swept with a single pull from CC, and why that? Because Kazuha has two pulls in his skill and plunge while Venti has one continuously long pull, so no he didnt fell off he is being kept away from use, put 20 small enemies in a floor spawning all on different corners and suddenly he is a must pull again, oh? They do that? When exactly? Oh on Venti reruns... I wonder why, surely the unit everyone already has is not being pulled to increase its usage number on a single patch right? The answer is simple, even people with Kahuza struggle to do ventiable content. Holy wall of text.

Not only that, but more enemies have become immune/very resistant to Venti’s burst which is so annoying… they really forgot about him.
