Founded in 1999 Amba Foundation has provided holistic education to over 2000 children from juggi bastis in Delhi with the aim of integrating them into mainstream education. Over 1000 youth have been empowered with Vocational training and Skill development programs such as Computer Applications, Beauty Culture and Training for Malls and the Retail Industry. For empowering poor women Amba formed Self Help Savings Groups with over 500 members and a cumulative saving of over 50 lacs for inter loaning and micro finance. Reaching out to tens of thousands of marginalized families the Foundation has also provided basic healthcare facilities to over 15000 persons.
