It doesn’t seem to me that the strategy was to market to the local community but rather to the influx of clients coming from all over Long Island and beyond. Thanks so much for this interview and sharing such significance! I recently ‘discovered’ Gay Hendricks in the brilliant documentary FINDING JOE. I have a question and would so appreciate an insight. To raise my vibration I listen sometimes to songs on AGM or BGT and am thrilled by the talent and often moved to tears by the lyrics or the human responses of vulnerability, humility besides searing talent. At times a song might take me to a very sad place - is this me and my upper limits? I feel like I’m in a good place these days and my best companion is my cat Shmarlee who adopted me at the onset of COVID - a long story but he was feral and abandoned on the rooftops of Athens (Greece) where I live - anyway today I was stroking him under his chin (which he loves) and I had a forward flash of the day I might have to put him down. In a momentary thought like that my whole world shrinks. Is this me and my upper limits? I hope this isn’t a nonsense question but this brilliant interview made such good sense to me... I’d appreciate an insight.

They hired YOUNG people with NO real world experience. clueless. A headline read yesterday, the Trans people Numbers have been GREATLY Over counted. As a gay man in his 60's I can count on One hand the trans people I have met or were aware of, Meaning they wanted others to know they were Trans. 4 people since I was 25. Lots of lesbins & gays though. By the way NO ONE makes the decision to become gay bi lestbein, trans. no one ! Its Not a choice..(Just how am I going to do this?? )

They could have painted a can promoting a new product with the same contents as budlite but noone would be the wiser. But NO! They had to attack a base consumer. They made their bed, now they have to pay for their mistake.

The most obvious mistake is not understanding Bud-Lite is a cash cow product. They didn't need to advertise it at all and the sales would likely stay steady for a couple more decades. If they really believed the future of sales was "trans" or queer they should have introduced a new brand and started to build it with the marketing money they weren't spending on Bud-Lite. The true issue Bud-Lite and Disney are dealing with is they have marketers that are activists. Activists make horrible marketers to broad audiences.

Mulvaney is not a her, he is a him. Most normal men and women are repulsed by people like him. It is a visceral dislike and I do not think it will ever be normalized.

They sent one can of bud light to a trans girl on a niche part of tik tok as a small part of a larger marketing campaign. How could they have possibly predicted it would tank their company?
