I think these are interesting expressions and that this was a good video - but none of these expressions even come close to expressing the same feeling or sentiment that “I don’t give a f*ck” does in English. And it’s not just because the words in them are not crass - it’s that they don’t compare in terms of what they are expressing in general. Each of the Chinese expressions in the video have a better English phrase equivalent than “I don’t give a f*ck.” I kind of hope that native Chinese speakers who’ve learned and use English aren’t using “I don’t give a f*ck” when trying to express one of these sentiments!

I don't feel like any of these accurately capture the sense of "not giving a fuck". They all relate to giving up on some work or assignment, slacking off. To not give a fuck often rather means being indifferent to people's attitudes, not giving a fuck what someone thinks about you.

Nice content. but one advice, although I hate giving or receiving advice People who learn chinese "specially with this simple content don't really recognize those big chinese characters plus they understand English well, We mainly depend on the chinese pinyin to help recognize the pronunciation however I hardly see the pinyin because it's written in a micro small letters opposite to English and Chinese character they are sooo big for no reason compare to what we want (pinyin)
