Cable should not be in contact with your forearm
Wow this is terrible form haha
WTH
These are still frequentist!
I don't see why you'd move the upper arm at all on these. It removes the stretch. I think your technique is wrong.
Never you’ll do that
Hey man! good video, to the point, well explained.
Way too much talk
sorry, the EXECUTION is totally wrong! you should KEEP the elbow back as you curl and not lift it forwards. shoulder remains in extension as the elbow flexes!!!!
Additional videos in series????
The right way! ruclips.net/video/goqxi_ea8Do/видео.htmlsi=n7kkfYrpbOpisLDk
no tension at the top of the ROM. looks like garbage.
This is not the correct form - has the exercise wrong
You made a mistake., Biceps brachii does not take the function of shoulder flexion. Biceps brachii take the primary function that flexion in the elbow and forearm supination. Should flexion happen because of the anterior deltoid. Sometimes may we can feel the biceps engagement when we doing shoulder flexion that because the biceps brachii long head insertion in ther supraglenoid tubercle of scapula. So shoulder flexion function is not the function of biceps brachii.
Sorry man, lol you seem like a really nice guy but you’re not right at all haha
Bro recorded the wrong way
Very clear and helpful, thank you
don't let the cable touch the forearm!
How do you do it without the cable touching the forearm?
@@pkd.81 ruclips.net/user/shorts-CZ1LlbUXIc?si=WvsMUcbAEPDchCwe
@@pkd.81 easy. Lean the body forward. If you lean the body, or at least the torso forward - and keep the elbow pinned at your side (optional pro tip: keep shoulders fixed back) … then the cable won’t touch foreman. Obviously, curl in supination. Not “hammer.”
This guy has no idea what he is doing. He is just making shyt up as he goes
Yea shoulder extension is the rear deltoid. Lol
thank you
Its been two years science than.
Started trying these now, since my "home gym" doesn't have a smith machine, so when i do shrugs with a barbell i gotta take it from the ground, and since i like to go heavy, my back gets pretty fucked up everytime.
Not correct. Check out Menno who invented it, teaching Jeff Nippard: ruclips.net/video/eUYY19p4IRY/видео.html&ab_channel=JeffNippard
this is completely the wrong way to do the bayesian curl. You're supposed to keep the elbow locked to your side and then start the curl in the upright position and gently tilt forward during the concentric portion of the curl then tilt back upright as you bring your arm back down.
why? Dude is just summarizing what he read somewhere else or just assumed blindly. In my gym, there's this guy who started lifting not long ago, he's been doing a variation of this version where his elbow is no where near locked. He's not swinging it but it's definitely moving. His arms became huge and defined, and he's not an ego lifter. I think this helps engage the forearms as well, and it does not matter if the elbow moves as long as the bicep goes full rotation as the cable unlike a dumbbell always keeps the tension on.
@@zbi2169 shut it noob.
That makes it easier your wrong
😂
This is a shoulder (front delt) exercise + Bicep combo (not Bayesian curling technique). Proper technique is to allow the cable to pull your elbows behind you and to keep them in fixed position while doing the curls. If you have to move your elbows forward you are using too much weight for this exercise. This is an exercise that requires less weight to be effective.
Is it important to step away from tower or stand close to the tower?
@@blackswordsmann1871 step forward (away from tower) to set up the starting tension
@@blackswordsmann1871 Doesn't really matter, just what feels the best. I'd put the cable a little bit higher, not to the lowest position, just like 2-4 clicks higher so the cable is in 90° angle at the stretch position. Also like this guy said, keep your elbows behind your back and "stretched" and it will focus more to the biceps. If you bring elbow forward, it focuses some front delt too. Also the stretch is anyways most important for muscle building and you can still squeeze hard even if you keep your elbows slightly behind your back.
@@blackswordsmann1871 the thing that’s important is that you feel consistent tension with the weight even when you are at the bottom of the eccentric. You have to find that. Usually means walking away from tower more than we’d suspect.
WTF he doesn’t even know how to perform the excersise
this is right wdym
You are not supposed to drive your albues that much forward at all
@@emreerciyas9969 yes you are; biceps don’t only flex the elbow, they also anteflex the shoulder
@@emreerciyas9969 this is not a tricep exercise bro, the bicep flexes the elbow
@@ivorap8197 it doesnt matter, tension at the stretched position is what matters. Hes adding shoulder for no reason.
Upload any time soon?
I’ll highly recommend u to train ur calves brother 🤣
This is done so wrong
How do you do them?
@@gymspot3007 the way that justifies this particular exercise. Lean forward, brobrah. And pin elbow at ur side. Fixed. Keep shoulders retracted (lock ur lats). And now . . . Curl. Don’t move your elbow. On the concentric or eccentric. No shade. You’re great. We is all here to learn from one another.
👍🙏
Thank you bro!

What do you think about Elliott Atwell ?
I would pay a thousand dollar bucks for your daily content ;)
hahahaha thank you Jordan - you're the man.
This exercise effectively engages the long head of the biceps. As you pull the weight beyond neutral shoulder flexion you'll recruit more of the front deltoid. Looking forward to seeing more of these tutorials!
thank you my bro!
Dude where have you been Also where is Elliott
Have been working on getting the gym locator up and running - biz dev is a mighty task. Elliott and I have plans to start a new podcast of much higher quality on his channel but he's a procrastinator so badger Zordon to get a move on it hahaha
