This priest knows nothing. His answer is a series of bumper sticker slogans. Platitudes. Nice sayings. Not one word from the Bible, God's Word. The Bible shows plainly why God has allowed suffering. God did not create man to suffer, or die. He was created perfect and placed in a beautiful paradise home. He had everything he needed to be happy and enjoy life forever. God gave him a beautiful wife as well. Neither had to suffer, face tragedies or grow old. He even gave the man an interesting, fulfilling task to accomplish; name all the animals. In time, these conditions would have been there for all of their children. The wonderful start that God gave them PROVES that was his intention for mankind, not the mess we see now. What happened to God's original purpose for man? Did he change his mind and suddenly decide to afflict them with hardship and suffering? NO! Man rebelled! He chose disobedience and independence from God. He sided with Satan, that he should be able to choose good and bad for himself. Man as God, ruling himself. In doing this, he plunged all his offspring into sin and death. In doing this, the rebels questioned and challenged God's rulership, his sovereignty. The devil also made the charge that God was holding back good from them. He also said God was lying. These are MORAL, LEGAL issues that had to be answered. The entire heavenly body of faithful angels could see and understand these arguments and issues. No one in all of God's creation had rebelled before. What would he do? How would he handle it? How would he answer these challenges? Obviously he could simply destroy them all and start over. But that would not answer the accusations. In fact, that could raise even more questions. Maybe the devil was right and man could rule himself just fine without God ? Only time would prove God right. Time had to be allowed to prove the devil a liar. To show that as a created being, man is not capable of self rule. He must obey his creator and submit to his divine authority. " Man has dominated man to his injury" ( Ecclesiastes 8:9). All people suffer now as a result of what Adam did and the challenges raised to God's rulership in the garden. But He has not left us in this state, with no hope. He has provided an escape by means of His Son and a plan to undo all the harm created by those rebels. He has proved Satan a liar and that man is incapable of being independent from him. He has also showed that many of Adam's children WANT God as their Sovereign. They love him and want to obey him. Very soon now, God's Kingdom, his government from heaven ruled by his Son, will take action against the present world that is still in rebellion. Wicked, corrupt human rulership under Satan's control will be done away completely. ( Daniel 2:44).

Smart people can easily understand teachings of bible, making it obey God's Laws and avoid sins. Weak and less intelligent born people despite how they study bible, they cannot comprehend it, making them fell easily into deception and make sins and do some unpleasant to God. At the End: smart people who obeys God will be save and weak people who will not inherit everlasting life because their purpose only is an educational stuff for smart people (who was saved) that sins can cause chaos and death.
