the Ice Pick was THE place, man. legendary and notorious at the same time. I was reading a Bobby Steele interview in MRR, talking about tour stops with The Undead. he was going on about tons of people in the Ice Pick having swatistika (patches and stickers, maybe?) all over their clothes and leathers. he certainly seemed surprised by it, as many folks that weren’t aware would be. I had been there quite a few times over the years (in both locations, saw DOA there). it wasn’t like that element didn’t exist and wasn’t known about. it was around, and in the scene, but it’s a hard thing to detail and describe.
