What the majority of Case knife buyers say when they first see their new knife "what" 2:10. Good review. If you do a burn, make sure your stay "light", IMO. I have seen some that are "over burned" and that is fixable, but my preference is a medium burn. The dye jobs came out good too. Now you have a one of a kind
@@rustyminer thanks Rusty how can I fix the over burn?
@@rustyminer I kind wanted it a Medium burn. But I over did it a bit if u can give me some advice, much appreciated.als love watching your videos.u and Baxter blades are my favorite
@@samrodriguez9864 Sam, I have not tried this yet, but I have Case knives with factory burn that I believe has worn off over time. With that, I am guessing you could "wear" some of your burn off with "polishing paper". I have quite a few sheets of 8000 grit sand paper that I use on my bone to put my own finish on the bone and have be fine with the results. Watch your shield and bolsters as the grit will leave marks on them. I have found Case paste takes off those marks. Thanks for the compliment. I like Baxter's stuff too.
Great job keep up the good work!!! I subbed to you🤝
Did you burn your sky blue Trapper and sodbuster, before you dyed them? They look nice 👍🏻
I think that that Sod Buster has just the right amount of burn. Looks nice 👍🏻 I don't like them burned to much, good video 😊
@@NewAgainKnifeReviews thanks buddy I ended up putting a little burn on the 2nd soddy
Welcome! Look forward to your future videos!
Beautiful bone! What brand is that? I couldn’t quite read the tang stamp
Super nice!
Gorgeous
Those are sky blue knives that you burned? Am I Right? The burn looks great
That knife has been messed with. A Case knife will never have tape on the box. Will not have that second sticker on the bottom of the box. And will not have that sharpie spot on the side sticker. You were blessed to get a good one, some sellers on amazon repackage problem knives and sell them, I've ran into that before. Always beware at 1. tape 2. Anymore than one sticker 3. And sharpie marks.
@@NewAgainKnifeReviews oh wow I never thought I'm of that .thanks makes sense
@@NewAgainKnifeReviews thanks for the info
@@samrodriguez9864 I'm glad you got a beautiful knife, you won the gamble! 👍🏻😁
Looks good 👍🏻
Sodbuster turned out good. One of my favorite things about Case knives is that they’re beautiful and meant to be used. 👍
Looks good to me. I have seen some people doing that as of late and I might have to try it. Pretty cool. Thanks for sharing
@@Knifesandmore yeah just take it time it will crack
@ As you mentioned in part two. Turned out pretty nice other than that.
Thanks by the way
@ No problem
Sky blue is a beautiful bone! Slick looking knifes!
The Sky blue is a great Family!
Got to have that Zippo along with some Nice Case knives! Great carry!
Very nice sodbuster jr! I like that green bone. You said it about ordering knifes online. I do it but it’s definitely nicer to see them and handle them. Glad that canoe worked out for ya. Great looking knifes and thanks for sharing!
@@Knifesandmore yeah I'd rather see them before I buy but it's convenient buying from amazon.and Shepherd hills. I've been pretty lucky so far.havent really had to return anything yet. Thanks for the like.
That buffalo horn is nice! That wharncliffe blade on the trapper is really something. Very nice. Liked and subscribed.
@@Knifesandmore thanks
@@Knifesandmore thank you for subscribing
@@samrodriguez9864 You are welcome. I really liked your first two videos.
@Knifesandmore just subscribed to your channel.i don't have any red knives.yet but the large stockman is my first on the list.
@ Thank you very much for subscribing! You can’t go wrong with any of Cases red bone.
I love that sky blue
Laundry time with Sam!! Glad you got one! Yes it sucks when you dont get enough burn. Can be fixed with the right flame!
@@BaxtersBlades what type is safe to use?
@@BaxtersBlades lol yeah I had my Blue parrot blue tooth on ,not sure why it picked that up.lol
Nice collection
@@lgstylo8993 thanks u have a good collection yourself.how long have u been collecting?
@samrodriguez9864Sri I have more hunting and fishing/fillet knives than anything. I'm an outdoors man, so they get used allot. I've had pocket knifes since I was 8 years old.
That Canoe looks great. Glad I could help.
I love the darker green on that Sod Buster. Also that blade is leaning toward the nail nick side, just how you want it. You can burn it yourself if you want to. 😊
@@NewAgainKnifeReviews I was thinking maybe I could burn it.
@@NewAgainKnifeReviews I remember seeing ur video on that
What should I use ? I don't want to overdo it
@@samrodriguez9864 I've never burned one myself. But I have seen people burn it too much. Probably either a pocket torch or a cigarette lighter. If it gets dull after burning, buffing with white compound should bring it back. 😁
Some beauties there!
I wouldn't worry about the rubbing. It can't be helped on the Canoe, symptom of two blades in a narrow space. As for the blade wobble, if you can 'hear' it clicking, it either needs to be repaired or returned. If it only wiggles slightly, it will break In with time. Blade wobble is fixed by clamping the bolster in a vice (but not too tight or else it won't have enough snap). Then the pivot pin must be sanded flush with the bolster. And the knife buffed. Easy job if you have the tools and the nerve. I've done it with multiple of my knives, looks factory if done right. Keep the videos up👍🏻
@@NewAgainKnifeReviews yeah I can do it at work we have a vice .thanks for your help
@samrodriguez9864 place some kind of padding between the jaws to prevent from scarring. This will cause the pin to protrude, if this does not bother you, it is fully functional as it is. But if you want to smooth the pin out you'll have to blend it into the bolster by sanding it smooth with 2,000 grit sand paper. Then buff the bolster with white Polishing compound. 👍🏻
@NewAgainKnifeReviews it's funny you said that about the padding.becaouse I was thinking that exact thing last night.thanks again for the info.have a great Sunday
@@samrodriguez9864 you too, if you want to see a knife that I have done this to, I have a short on a Green Bermuda bone mini Trapper 6207. You can see how it looks when done 👍🏻
Well it worked with no Damage, thanks so much for your help.
That trapper is NICE! 👍🏻
Super nice, they're beautiful. Try a 6318 Stockman soon if you don't have one, they're one of my favorites.
@@NewAgainKnifeReviews I looked them up,I'm going to have to get one.i do have a 6375 and a 63032 .and I absolutely love them
@samrodriguez9864 the #18 is basically the same size as the #032. The blades are the same length. But the #18 has round bolsters and feels better in the hand and pocket in my opinion. Plus the #18 is built a little sturdier. The liners and blades are thicker. 👍🏻
Thats a really nice set right there! 2 I dont have!! Happy New year Sam!!
@@BaxtersBlades thanks Baxter happy New years 🎉 to you as well. Yeah I just got them.alot of my knives I get from your videos.you definitely got some very nice knives
@@BaxtersBlades so I'm a new collector. And still learning.but I got the case fever.i think I'm up to 20 blades half trapper and half sodbuter
@@samrodriguez9864 oh no you got the Case Bug!!😂😂 Soddys and trappers are both great patterns to collect wish i only picked 1 pattern cause they have so many awesome covers. But now im hooked on 5 or 6 patterns by them!
I like the stamp on the bolster, very nice
That Blue Pocketworn is really nice. 👍🏻
I think so too!
@@samrodriguez9864Try the Red Worn Bone pocketworn sometime. It's probably my favorite.
Yeah fell in love with it. Think I first seen it on Baxters Blades
very nice Sam! I love those pocket worn!
Thanks Baxter I picked it up right after I saw the video on your's.
