A great merseyside day out. I was there. Aged 20, wow.
I was there . Twas mad
remember watching sledge hammer series in 1987
Never forgoten how all the everton fans stood side by side, shoulder to shoulder with Liverpool fans in the days after that ill fated match, the result didn't realy matter to me in the cup final bcos it was the day we're the whole of Merseyside came out in support of the families and victims, it was a great match and Liverpool won the cup but I got no satisfaction after the game bcos it meant nothing to me realy. Am telling the gods honest truth bcos of the tragic events previously. Rest in peace 🙏 97 ❤
Saturday 20th May 1989
and uk gold not sure what during, and other bits too, 1990 coronation street, good tape
What a wonderful program. My Dad took me to Anfield when I was 11. King Kenny put United in their place that day. Lol got to live out a dream. Thank God he didn't score the penalty cos he might have lost his mind 😊
Dennis Law is 84 now. How time flies
Tommy, Ray, Emlyn, Ray, Lol Joe, Bob.. RIP
My god, I never knew Father Jack made it into the charts
My god Gilbert never shuts up
I think that this was from 1989 or something. (Edit: The continuity is from 1991.)
A Team and boxing from the weekend of 27th and 28th September 1986. Music Box is from a week later from the 4th October.
Just another moment in time? But have you ever thought what going on on the other side of the world behind a cloud of smoke? They don’t want you to know.
Back before adverts started getting political and virtue signalling all the time. I miss the simpler times.
I can't say I've ever seen a political ad? What are you talking about?
Who's that at the door? Why it's only Bill Shankly, like it is the most normal thing in the world to occur.
The man who rebuilt LFC
Unlike The Big Match, not much seems to have survived, but it went out live so probably never recorded. There was a title sequence before the aeroplane one for example which doesn't appear to have survived.
Great video Do you have anymore bravos shows to upload
Graham didn’t need to take this fight. It was a huge risk to pick Kalambay as a safe tuneup, never mind going into it without Ingle in his corner.
Do you have any more Get Fresh? thanks!
Can't believe its not butter so exciting isn't it you know 😢😢😢😮😮😮😮😅😅😅❤😂😂😂😂
Early version of Britain's got talent 😮😢😢❤❤❤❤
I was there at the Testimonial for Tommy Smith, Great Atmosphere & players there
Recorded On Thursday 4th March 2004
My uncle Bobby. I was 17 when this was happening and loved every second of it
I've never heard that story of BTTF being a script Zemeckis had given up on and Spielberg persuaded him to film it after Romancing The Stone. In every other source inc the making ofs on the home releases and in the Making of book, Zemeckis and co-writer Bob Gale (who Spielberg doesn't mention and who originated the idea for the film) channeled the success of Romancing as soon as the box office numbers were in to get BTTF greenlit. They themselves then asked Spielberg to Exec Produce as he was the only one who believed in them pulling off BTTF when they had no clout after a string of flops. Previously they asked him not to, being worried if BTTF flopped they'd get known as the guys who only get films made because they're Spielberg's mates, and as such they'd never get another movie made. Now they'd proved themselves to get a hit without his help, they approached him. This is shown by how soon after Romancing's release that BTTF went into pre-production. I wonder if this interview being so close to the events means this is how things actually happened. Or if Spielberg created a catchy story to tell in interviews.
jolly rancher swirls are choky.
1000 times better than Grandstand any weekend
I remember watching this as a kid Tomy Smith was my favourite player at the time and i so wanted Lol to score
That uk sport politician has a sickly thin, rat like countenance
Our press are scum
The legend that was Sir Bobby Robson! A real giant of a football man! The reason Ronaldo R9 was such a great player, the reason Jose Mourinho and Pep Guardiola are the successful managers they are today! The list goes on! Rest In Peace ‘Sir Bobby Robson’ 🏴
Lothar Matthäus is absolutely class for consoling Waddle after the penalty.
God the narration in this is full of some waffle. Beautifully shot but like what football was this lad watching? Dragged down to other teams level? Majestic continental football? England played their best in a draw against the Dutch. They played utter dross most of the tournament. I've seen Gazza as well saying he was the best player in the world at the time. Maradonna even then was miles ahead, Lothar Matthäus? Jesus Baggio? Gazza was never remotely in his league. Just delusional. They've played far better now days under Southgate for all his faults.
Hysel; outdated crumbling stadium, poor policing, segregation, antagonistic Juve supporters
بسیار عالی شد یک فیلم دیگر از جام جهانی نوستالژیک من پیدا شد. البته از نگاه انگلیس
Beautiful and painful
Give me the Impossible Job to this style of documentary.
My favorite football documentary. Italia 90 was ace.
England v Ireland was 11th of June not the 21st
Waddles kick was so damn close when it came off the post
We were so close Gary. A whisker away, son. RIP Bobby Robson. 🙏🏻
It’s ‘Sir’ Bobby Robson to you sunshine!
this is your first 🥺
Loved italia 90 - shame this documentary did t just show the footage and not players boots and floodlights
What a shambles these two were. I think a 10 year old was in charge of C4 sports at this time.
Wwas
The English tabloid press were (still are?) utter wankers. On the plus side, Italia '90 was a great tournament . . . so much to enjoy and be enthused by.
Crap narration all through Unwatchable
Can you edit out Garry glitter and edit back it Frank goes to Hollywood
