Who knew this tune needed some work. Guess that's why "Thriller" wasn't the biggest hit on the album.

Always thought this tune needed a little more spice. It just was a little too plain for my liking so I thought I best fix it. You are welcome George Lucas. If you want me to ruin you tracks get in touch at dylanmixing13@gmail.com Instagram: dylan_drums13
Could i use the firewire to a hub that will trans it to usb/thunderbolt on my macbook ?
Hi...only just found this. I play drums and also have a Venice F32. I use the Firewire direct into my 2020 Mac (intel). I have to use two converter cables from Firewire to Thunderbolt to Thunderbolt but it works fine. However I don't EQ on the way in (I understand why you do) I just record straight in and EQ in the box. In fact I think (but haven't tried it) that the signal goes straight in from the mics and out from the preamps to Firewire so bypasses the EQ any way, but I'm not sure on this as haven't tried EQing on the console. I realise that I'm wasting most of the console doing things this way but for me it was about getting a lot of inputs into my Mac so I could record multitrack drums without have to buy multiple interfaces to get enough channels.
Thanks for this video, quick question tho. Do you think it would be possible to monitor thru the f32 while using direct outs to a say audent evo 16? I love the workflow of this console and want to try and run it with an EVO 16 and 2 SP8s for 24 channels. I hate not having an actual fader as my volume now (spoiled from the f32 volume fader) In theory I would take my speaker outputs from the EVO16 to the f32 master ins but dont want to blow anything up. Please send help.
Clarett sounds much better without EQ :S
very good my friend, and the purest reality, as much as digital has evolved, there is nothing better and more practical than tactile controls and I need a console, combining analogue with digital, everything is good, wonderful yours video .
Thanks for taking the time to make this video! I’m on the fence of getting a console or an interface, pro’s& con’s to both. One of my obstacles is I have 2 kits and if I get a console it will live on my desk and that makes setting levels and tones difficult, I’m a one man operation. Any suggestions on that scenario? I was looking at a board that may use an iPad for setting levels, like avid control in pro tools. Thanks again. B
Have you compared clarette's pres with the midas;?
Great Comparison. Thanks for the video! ✌️
great video! good points made here, thanks 🙏
Great vid and nice drumming as well dude. Question if you don’t mind, what desk are you using for your F32 console I dig it man?
Thank you for the kind words. The desk is a custom build my Dad constructed.
Hi! I also own a console and I always find it very difficult to decide what's the best sound from hearing the drum sound from the console's headphone out. When I hear it through my actual monitoring system and later from the speakers, it always sounds different. Do you use very closed headphones?
I hear more depth and dynamic range on clarett.
The Midas sounds killer, great EQs!
surprised, looks like you are running windows, firewire should still work. I am running a fleet of motus as my front end to my console and they are utilizing firewire daisy chaining and it works even in recent windows 10 updates.
I have a question: the venice f32 records in multitrack ???? I want to record my drums set in Logic pro x but I don't have channels in my interface
The SD changes drastically.
Super ved! Subscribed!
Hey there! You bring some very valid points here! First tip to get a good sound is get your f****g instrument to sound good, be it a guitar, drum/percussion kit, an acoustic piano or a church organ. Great recordings ALWAYS starts with great instruments! A low ukelele or a tuna can are great instruments when they fit the context! Then chose the proper microphones.... The closest direct pick-up to the sound you are after, the less EQ and processing you will need. The mics are actually what is making the recording! Then there is the question of AD/DA converters.... For classical music I go for RME, neutral, tasteless, odourless, featureless... They simply record brutally true honest tracks! And their drivers are flawless! For other types of works, I use my Venice F32 and Harrison MixBus 32C v7 software simply as a multitrack recorder. (I'am very old school!) Simple, works all the time, and sounds reeeeeeeeaaaaly good! I enjoyed this video of a young man showing how it's done! Kudos!
Hey man cool vid, did you ever use the f32 as an audio interface? If so, is it comparable to the f32-->Clarett signal chain? If not why? Thanks
I did back when it was still compatible. To be honest I didn’t notice the difference between the f32 and the claretts converters. Both sound good.
I owned an f16 and the conversion was totally on par with the RME it replaced. I really miss my Midas.
I have a clarett too! Nice video I dig it. We should make something
Don’t be sorry.
Nice length.

this is amazing bro!!!!!!!:0
You're too kind
*I like this author! Fascinating channel I like it! )))*
Thank you Doctor. Keep up the good work sir
Nice drumming, but you're not playing a cover. You're playing an accompaniment. A cover is where you are playing the song, itself. That's what I thought this was going to be when I saw the link. Here's an example of an actual cover: ruclips.net/video/OVboY26AexU/видео.html
You most likely won't like the titles of my other videos...
Why do you guys have different last names?
