What does the pts/2-T2 mean on the guest Home Screen? At my property it always changes and I asked my manager but she doesn’t know what it means.
Can you do a video to show how redeem a virtual credit card and "hide" the room charges/taxes on prepaid OTA/Expedia bookings so that the guests only see their incidentals on their folio at check-out?
I may be wrong, but I believe it has something to do with adding under the "req" section of the reservation D7 (do not display room and tax) or D9(do not display folio) but again I may be wrong im still training right now

how does a guest enter their card if lets say they make a reservation on the phone?
@@Abdullah-rx2xq you have to enter it manually. Once you get to cc, press F9 and enter manually.

Hey brother, can you make a video explaining about processing third party check-ins and especially in regards to what occasions I should be holding incidentals and how much, when a card should be physically inserted by the guest for said incidentals. It's really messing me up im 2 weeks in training coming up to 3 weeks

@@elviragaribay7872 No. A points reservation has to be made by the guest. It comes to the system through Marriott. Points reservations can never be made at the property because there is a certificate attached to it that's issued by Marriott.

to issue a refund, is the correct way to enter the amount is with a negative? like if a guest reserved using points, but you mistakenly charge them, in folio-post, do you enter ex -$150 if you charged them $150? thanks!
@JayMackFX some rate codes have a rebate code to offset it. If you don't have one, you can use the same rate code but a negative amount.

For non-members who booked their stay via 3rd parties such as Expedia, do they also have a chance to enroll while checking in? Perhaps enroll them and encourage them to book direct next time they stay?
@yvr2002rtw anyone can enroll. This past month, we had 178 enrollments, and a lot of them came from OTA reservations.

if the reservation is prepaid, how/when do you collect the deposit for incidentals? thanks!
@jay2the hi. If it's pre-paid, you authorize $0 for room and tax and only authorize the hold for incidentals at check-in.

How do you POST a Q45 report ? Manager hasn’t showed me how to do much of anything on here and is starting to threaten my job if she doesn’t see improvement. I’ve been working at my place of employment for a week.
I can make a video today to show you
document, document, document, if your manager isn't showing you how to do a report and is GASLIGHTING you, That is on your manager not you. You need to document by sending an email that you have no documentation of how to do a report and now I'm being threatened. You are dealing with a plausible deniability manager meaning if you don't have the receipts, it's their word against you. first document on email that you haven't received training. There needs to be emailed documentation from you stating that you have not received the training. If your manager still refuses to train, send another email again stating that you have ASKED FOR TRAINING AND RECEIVED refusal from your manger to train you. Take back the narrative take back your power. Good Luck. This manger is being unprofessional and unreasonable. basic training is 30-60-90 and the manager should have listed out clear mile stones. and realistically it take about a year to learn your role and from there build on top of the foundation skills.
