How Persona 3 Reload Can Be THE BEST Persona Game
“This game almost replaced Pokemon” Lol no it didn’t.
Ngl 2 protags just don't interest me at all & a female character would be weird seeing as how I'm a dude & don't want to romance another dude 😂 Imo I'm down for a college setting, world, etc outside HS for once, but to change that drastic would kill a huge part or what makes persona games so good... The romance. A lot of people will still like it, but it definitely won't be aa popular as 5 seeing as how there's so many mfs who are into waifus let's nor pretend otherwise 😂
PERSONA IS A BLACK MAGIC GOD SLAYER GAME MEANT TO DISTORT THE REALITY OF CARL JUNGS ARCHETYPES AND THE COGNITIVE DISSONANCE IN THIS DYSTOPIAN WORLD
My favorite part of the story is how heroes interact with villains, and how they grow to stop minimizing the problems they faced growing up, while also not letting them take over the world with their bad solutions. It has influenced how I view my morality a bit, in that the ideal is what we strive for, even though the real world isn’t as black and white as we wish it was.
Bro predicted the future lol It's literally everywhere
Let's be honest here, One Piece isn't ending in at least 5 years. We won't be having this conversation of One Piece's ending until the next generation of big Shonen end.
horikoshi should of left deku losing one for all ambiguous for example showing a spark of his flame in the final chapter with the first user or something
Hello Though I admit that the overall arcs of the story dragged on and lot of ends were tied up hastily, the ending was a good one. The moment that sealed it for me, though I noticed it only after re-reading the final arc after a while, is when everyone helps Izuku get to and nail the final punch into All For One / Shigaraki final version. AFO quotes in his mind: "Your weakness is something All Might lacks". Prior to this, as the whole of Japan is watching the stream of AFO/Shig vs Izuku, Kaminari (mind whooped) whilst being carried by Momo asks her "That I still don't have the feeling as when All Might says Its fine now? Does being worried mean that I don't trust him (Midoriya)?" These cement the reason why we needed Izuku as the protagonist and what the story was actually trying to say. People often complain about Izuku not being cool or powerful as All Might or Bakugo but these panels try to tell us that this is exactly the point why is the best to be the lead. So that you too can help him when the need arises, not be onlookers but be actors. The story overall did have a lot of flaws. Its not a perfect story, but the heart never changed. No one can argue that the tonal shifts were great from the bright hero centric arcs to the dark MVA arcs (talking only about the manga and not the disappointment the anime was) and the ART, the ART of the manga is and will be remembered by me as top notch. Hands down one of the best of Shonen art I have enjoyed especially the effects. Though the amazing characters possibilites of the League of villains especially Shiggy, Spinner and Compress weren't realized and was a huge let-down. But to each their own. Stories are stories. What you enjoy and take away from a story is dependent soley on how you view it. So enjoy. If MHA isn't for you, its ok. I hope you find something you do enjoy. Please don't be one who sits on a plain and says "I have climed the mountain" though, as when one says AOT or JJK or Demon Slayer or FMA are the best stories out there. It really aint. Check out stories like DecaDence, Mob Psycho, Katanagatari, Gintama, Sword of the stranger, Grand Blue, Baka To Test, Kaguya-sama: Love is War, Hayate the Combat Butler, Kids on the Slope, Bocchi the Rock among others. Hope you have a great time ahead
I genuinely wasn’t to sold on the ending at first but after sitting on it. It might be the best way it could have ended.
I think it might take inspiration from the movie. Catch me if you can. That movie is about a world traveling adventure starring a grifter and I think it would make good inspiration
did anyone else like tomura from the very beginning?
I would understand the frustration of a few fans that didn’t like how rushed the ending might’ve been or felt but I think it’s unfair to undermine Deku’s growth as a character when his whole character been “saving one no matter what” regardless of if he’ll lose his quirk or die. that type of character trait been consistent throughout the series so to see deku still doing hero with hero related stuff is still kinda insane. a quirkless citizen teaching young heroes? thats fucking insane when you know the level of intelligence that Izuku genuinely possesses. to know that izuku gets undermined because of mistranslation from tiktok and twitter gave izuku a bad reputation and ruins his growth just for the official translation to debunk and show that deku got what he wanted, circling back to his main dream “a quirkless still be a hero” and he did. that’s actually sick mha may not be the insane story and so on but its a fun story that has a nice ending that doesn’t need a dramatic end. just a end where peace is rising and room for growth. mha was fun and i enjoyed it
I do think that AFO's actual character is that the reason he wanted OFA not for the sake of power alone, but also, once he rules the world. He could talk to his brother, Yoichi, as he feels lonely without a brother, who he once actually cared about to the point of killing all of these people only to find out that his brother is dead, having to be taken away from him
My hero heroes rising is the real ending
Ppl who drop the series half way missed out big time. Horikoshi has a message he wants to send to his readers and he delivered it perfectly. It’s actually quite rare in shonnen, most don’t have a long term plan and shift focus all the time.
Awesome video! Im preparing myself to write a full text about the message of MHA and also a review considering "Christianity & My Hero Academia", some curiosities and comparisons that resonates a lot to me. Your work here just fueled me even more 😅 Keep up, man. And PLUS ULTRA 🙌
The only good thing after the story was over that I decided to finally watch Pluto(2023) And by God it was the best anime I ever watched it really made me forget mha ever existed Like it actually had a story, actually good villain and the themes are clear and understandable and no cop out of any kind And that's just go for Astro boy in general
??? wtf does that have to do with mha's ending?
@@afro025 I watch Pluto after seeing the ending of mha, and was so disappointed that I needed something to get it off My head. Then I remembered that Pluto was on Netflix. And after 8 episodes I already forgotten about mha
@@greengem9132stupid😂😂. Mha destroys pluto bro. Pluto has a criminally mid ending and the overall story was not as interesting as it could’ve been. Urasawa has done better works. Id give pluto a 7.5 while on the other hand mha deserves a 8.5-9 easily.
When concerning Deku losing OFA 1: in a hero Journey, the Hero gives/return what they gain to the greater good. Deku giving up OFA to save the world from Sharagki and Sharagki himself fit this role of a hero Journey. 2: it a trope that what the villain want, they ultimate get it to progress the plot or climax. There is hardly ever a case what Villain wants, unless it a gg power, they be denied what they wanted. All might stated from the beginning that people will seek OFA power from the start, obtaining was the tricky part. 3: OFA is overpowered. It be very hard for Deku to face villains in the future unless the villains are overpowered from the beginning that dawfs AFO who is considered the most powerful and dangerous villains in MHA. Somehow they never move before hand. Escalate of power can be ridiculous with ever growing powerful villains. Looking at you Dargonball. At least with the power armor, there will be limits for future stories with believable stakes without everyone needing to grow overpower. 4: life isn't fair. It literally the frist line in MHA. It suck that Deku loss OFA, but it was something the story was consistently warning about. By going anime seasons 2: Stain drinking Deku blood, since getting ofa is obtaining by consuming previous user dna. 3: All might loss embers of ofa 4: Deku considered unworthy to have OFA 5: Sharagki obtain power of AFO and abilities to take OFA 6: Sharagki nearly succeeded taking OFA but isn't completed. 7and soon to be 8 can speak for themselves. 5: whole point of being a hero is to combat unfairness, wheather it fighting villains, saving lives or as simple as cleaning a breach to make life better for others is never ending job of a hero. You can make a difference with or without a quirk if you want it and put in effort. And sometimes, help other to improve like Gentle Criminal or Deku friends obtaining money to give him the power armor. And All might surviving, while angry some fans, Awriza said it best to All might "Don't apologize for living."
I genuinely hate the most common critiques about the ending of this series. It’s perfectly valid to not like something but whenever I see people talking about the “trash” ending it’s always about how he ended up a total nobody or how his friends abandoned him which… is I just not true. It’s like people latched the idea and read the manga with their eyes closed to make this critique. I loved the series. I think it had its peaks and valleys, but the peaks sent me absolutely soaring, and the valleys are honestly not that bad. As a whole package, I would call MHA an incredibly solid show, and definitely one of the better long running shonen series. For me personally? It’s changed my life, there are scenes I feel altered my brain chemistry and it’s genuinely made me want to become a better person. This series will always have a special place in my heart.
Valid. It really is a top 10 shonen of all time. Litteraly: naruto, op, bleach, aot, fmab, hxh, yyh, jojo, dbz there you go theres still 1 free seat in the top 10 for mha 🔥🔥🙏

When I read that chapter officially (I tried my best to ignore leaks as hard as I wanted because I wanted this to be a personal read than a community orientated one) and won't lie that chapter had me crying for like 7 minutes 😂I genuinely thought it was one of the best endings I've ever seen in a Shonen, the final chapter just mirrors the first chapter in such a smooth/simple way. Deku is my favourite character in fiction and I'm so glad they gave him such a fantastic ending, because I think it would've been too bitter sweet if his selflessness wasn't awarded in some way just for the sake of the narrative to find your own meaning in life and to not stoke the flames he always had and run unconsciously to save someone in the same exact extreme way he's built, and this way genuinely felt perfect mirroring All Might escaping his narrative fate and Deku doing so too so they feel epitomised in terms of humanity, but it feels tragic that Shigaraki was on the other side of that because he kept his convictions in the end to be a Hero for the villains that he was almost pushed into that narrative fate, but in the end along with the rest of the League they were all Human, even All For One! And if you couldn't tell Deku is my favourite character in the series 😅 I do disagree a little though I think there were some hints at All For One's possessive nature, you can kinda tell through his talk with All Might when he talks about his comrades while it feels like he's grooming Shigaraki at that point of the story to the viewers, then I think in season 5 I think it makes it more clear how All For One sees things in the vestige realm especially with Yoichi who's seen as quirkless or evolutionary defect and kept him even though as a character we know he'd consider him useless in terms of possession, I always thought he was very cool, All Might and All For One's dynamic is my favourite dynamic in the series by far.
Algorithm boost comment.
You are so real for this lol

Finally, someone who FVCKING reads! I've seen people just don't read the manga and say the ending is bad for stupid reasons.
Yeah all the shippers and powerscalers weren’t happy with an ending like that but it really wraps up the story nicely
@@readitandweeb yeah, I bet the weird shippers wanted to see Ochako and Izuku to do the... well... thing... on the bed. And the powerscalers just don't understand that Deku sacrificing his Quirk means he's a true hero.
W vid, because mha isn’t a perfect series but it was one of my first anime and it is still one of my fav manga/anime
I loved the ending
Only criticism valuable for this manga is: -some arcs were too rushed (vigilante arc, epilogue arc) -a few important plot holes (quirk singularity theory, etc) Everything else was good 👍
Allah'ını sikm
I'm super glad that you talked about this Bittersweet ending. By the time that I wrote this Comment,It's been confirmed that MHA will get more Content meaning that we could get an Anime Adaptation of Vigilantes Spinoff or a Sequel Series or maybe both.
I am just adding on to the message of "anyone can be a hero" and horikoshi conveys it in a beautiful way. And that is to be just a little bit kinder to others. Just to pay attention to the people around you and help them out even if just a little. The message was first shown in Shigaraki's backstory. How the lack of willingness of the regular people to help a small child like Tenko due to the hero society becoming laid back and stagnant due to the glorification of heroes created a villain like Shigaraki. And then Horikoshi explores it further during Ochako's speech in the villain hunt arc. Nezu notices that one weird headed guy come forward and offer his umbrella to the other guy who was hating on Deku and arguing with Ochako. He says, "Just one more step." Saying all people need to do is take that one small step to be considerate of others. And then Hawks saying the same thing connecting with his dream of heroes having a lot of free time in their hands. And then ofc with the old lady thing too. Horikoshi nails it with this message. It's everywhere in the series. The downfall of the bad guys happened because of the lack of basic kindness. Twice, Toga, La Brava, Gentle, etc. It is so perfect how he does it. Yes it's a cheesy thing to say. But it's also the truth.
People read fake mistranslated leaks and those blew up on twitter, so sadly majority of people believe Deku is friendless and didn't become a hero which is false.
@@bigmonke1449 yeah I’m really confused by the people who think he got ghosted. He just said he doesn’t see them as often as he would like, because they’re all busy. That’s literally what adulthood is like, but to be fair it is shonen. Majority of the fans are like 15 and shipping characters on tumblr, or sending Horikoshi death threats for not making characters gay
What...? Bruh, it's made clear that not only did everyone go on separate paths as people, but everyone's now so busy that they can't find time to even hang out. Even the pages focused on Izuku's day-to-day shows that he's sometimes swamped with work. And we've already seen how busy teachers at U.A. can get through Shouta and Toshinori, and the new influx of students are no doubt due to Izuku now teaching at U.A. as well. But people think that everyone in his class are just avoiding him?? Seriously?!
Yessirr
At this point according to fans every manga had bad ending. I have heard it for so many mangas that I feel like it just haters being loud. MHA had best ending, though I wished Ochako and Deku become the couple. MHA's ending was perfect example of give them what they need not what they want. Deku inspired a whole generation including All Might. Making them realise power isn't what you need to be Hero. It's desire. In return the lonely, insecure Deku become secure over not having quirk. Bakugou's ego got replaced with pride. He now doesn't mind someone else becoming top1. All he cared for Deku. Shoto had best subplot. The whole family recover from shared trauma. Endeavour got what he deserves. I love how they had no forced happy ending. Instead a collective understanding of why they all moved on. No bitter thoughts anymore. Hawks dream came true though in twisted way. Ochako made a change in Toga and repeatedly saved Deku from falling. She has one of the best shonen girl arc. Considering how most of them render useless in overarching narrative. The writer did right by giving Ochako her own antagonist bcs in Shonen romance is comic relief and not a serious subplot. We all know the love interest's feeling won't be recognised untill the end. When, the whole reason why she exist has no devlopment then how she will become useful? All the sub arcs of MHA were awesome. I really want to see them on Pro Hero era. Sadly it won't happen. But I still hope as a special a single shot of how they all are flourishing as Pro Hero will be nice. 😭
Mha is better than Naruto
Both are equally good
Finally a guy who reads the manga, I seen lot of negative that everyone talks abt the ending but when they say their reasons it’s just them showing they didn’t read the manga and have TikTok knowledge and ccs that be spreading misinformation abt the ending just shows how that they don’t understand mha theme and they only care abt “aUrA or fIgHtS” ppl be saying anything to hate thoose days and ppl need to give a good reasons instead spreading misinformation “ending is trash or mid or bums” I bet most of ppl say “mid or bums” don’t know what the words even means and they just copy it and paste it.
As someone who’s keep up with the series since 2016, one of the quotes in the series that stuck with me most ironically came VERY early on. From one of the least popular characters, Mineta. When he was having his moment of reflection during the final exam before the training camp, his line “they aren’t cool because their hero’s, their hero’s BECAUSE their cool* stuck with me for years. Which is why I was 100% okay with where Deku ended up in the epilogue. You can do literally ANYTHING at all for a living, and still be a hero if you put in the effort to reach out, helping however you can. Including being a comic hero, if your situation allows it.
Wow I completely forgot about that quote I guess that is awesome actually!
All Might, please help the haters, for they can’t read MHA. Amen.
Praying to All Might is crazy🤣
The only negative criticism I've seen about the ending came from power scaler fans or shipping fans. I know cuz that's where most the complaints come from. They hate that Deku is now lower in the power scale compared to the rest of his class, and they also hate how none of the ships truly sailed. I, for one, looks for themes in the ending. What the ending says about the entire theme of the work and for it to land on deku opening to doors to everyone realizing that "everybody can be a hero" is such a good place to land on considering the first question of the series was "Can I be a hero?".
You get it! I also mainly care about themes!
It’s honestly got to be Izuku. Even with all of these amazing side characters and even All Might, Izuku Midoriya always seems to shine through in the end and steal that number one spot as my favorite character. I dunno how to explain it, but he’s the type of person I’d want to be if I had the choice. He embodies so much of how I think and feel. It’s insane how much I adore his character and look up to him. I’m sorry if it’s is cliche and boring to have the main protagonist as my favorite character, but I just can’t help it.
I think you explained it very eloquently! Midoriya is an amazing choice. Do not feel shame!! He’s top 5 for me for sure
Imo it was trash but that's just me honestly.
You can’t explain it in your own words tho.
@extremelyboredtatsumaki.495 I can I just think the ending doesn't make sense if you look back at the series I just feel like they made deku lose his powers for shock value bit just to turn out that he can still be the hero which doesn't make sense what's the point in doing that if he just gonna be a hero again plus I feel like deku getting the suit is a total cop out.
@@Misry730 It's not shock value, it's Deku learning his own individuality since chapter 1 "Can you be a Hero without a quirk", he learns his own self worth as a person. And the iron suit is not a cop out, it's a nod to All Might's parallel of dying for the successor trope and deconstructs it that these 2 characters aren't just comic book characters and epitomises their humanity, they both escaped their narrative fate (their masks, since throughout the story both characters put their Heroism above their Humanity). It's the collective coming back karmically that just because just because your role seems fulfilled, your disposition for wanting more in life isn't confined to the reality to the one you find yourself in, just because Deku finds value in himself doesn't mean he isn't allowed to want more which makes the ending parallel All Might and Deku more plus the first chapter, the final chapter is built upon everything in the series, especially how much fate and karma there is in the series Deku finding All Might a coincidence, Muscular finding Kota, Gentle finding someone similar to him, all of it is intentional for the over arching message of the series with Heroism, Humanity, Individuality and the collective with fate/karma in conjunction with society.
@tehcookievanilla1323 I understand that but in the beginning of the story always said if you don't have a quirk you can't become a hero that's the whole reason why all might gave deku the power but during the ending it's like they want you to forget what all might said and all of a sudden you can still be a hero even without a quirk that's confusing but instead we got all might and deku getting a suit with deku quirks still available in that suit it's like they just gave the suit to deku so they can hurry and wrap up the story plus if you look at the second movie didn't all might just gave deku his powers back why didn't he just do the same at the end.
@@Misry730 Because All Might is a faulty narrator and should be questioned and that is proved in All Might vs AFO part 2 in response to Deku's question again, it was always building up to the idea that quirkless people do have a role in society they themselves can find in to epitomise humanity, it's a thematic message as well as a response. Also All Might did not give Deku his powers back, it was the will of One For All that allowed it, Bakugo couldn't consent to something that takes Deku's powers away from him as it would take away from his character.
Hebrew 10 verse 23 And let us hold unwaveringly to the hope that we confess, for the one who made the promise is trustworthy.
I'm glad someone is speaking well of the ending it is so controversial among people
I felt vvvveeerrry upset😢😢😢😢😢😢
Yay thank god someone gets it. Loved the ending of this series. I really would love to hear you dive deeper into dekus ending though as that's what gets the most hate and personally I love it. Shigi is also my favorite but hawks deku and uraraka are close
Finally someone speaking good on the manga and the ending, I've heard so many whine about how Midoriya never became the world's greatest hero-- but that's just it. At the end, he says thats how he became the world's greatest hero-- and THEN we get the time skip. I think that the timeline Midoriya is in when he narrates the show isn't when he's a teacher at UA, or when he gets his support gear iron man suit-- its at the beginning of his second year at UA. And showing that his perspectives on what it means to be a hero and how we can all be heroes in the small things, without needing superpowers, is profound and a wonderful theme, and the fact that people hated on the ending for having no ships and not being what the wanted was disrespectful to Horokoshi. He didn't make ships canon likely because he'd get backlash no matter what he did, and so he left it open for people to enjoy what they want without making the ship warring worse. And whining because SOMEONE ELSE'S work didn't end how YOU want to is ridiculous. He chose where the story was going to lead, and he did WONDERFULLY.
Yeah I really loved the ending! I like this analysis a lot! I will say I do not envy being Horikoshi or any mangaka for that matter. I feel like people seem to think that every ending is bad. 💀
"He didn't make any ship canon because people would get mad" Is such a fucking stupid defense, anyone who though the main couple wasn't canon at this point is just playing dumb, it was stated it was canon every chance it got and yet it amounted to nothing in the end because Horikoshi pussied out of it, that's NOT something to praise .
actually the ending was good because the entire series he was saying how “he became the worlds greatest heroes” and at the end he says “this is the story of how we all became the worlds greatest heroes” as the concept of symbol of peace goes from the one greatest person and the symbol of peace is the concept of heroes
@@dkeksisieeiiaia Yeah totally, I see it as Midoriya developing in his understanding of that concept from his second year to when they're pros
I'm sorry dude but I think the ending is pretty bad Like I get what it was going for the best way I can say to summarize the story is that it's just... Pointless Like the whole journey was kind of pointless . Again I get what they are going for but it was a pretty fruitless journey.
my favorite character is Shoji. at first I just found him attractive so thats why he was my favorite. but after seeing more of his character I really got to like him more during the series
Shoji is awesome! I really love his time skip design too it’s very cool!
All might and afo my favorite character
Great picks!
