Letting The Girls Out To Pasture And Seeding Hay
Alright do you have a video of the loader mounts for that tractor I want to do the same thing
Appreciate seeing the tame critters! Always have to say hello
Always fun finding temporary fixes from years ago, lol
I just bought my first sp haybine. Game changer from the pull type.
do you work at a dealership too?
No sir. Why do you say that?
@@GriffinRanch22 Thought it looked like a dealership lot where you stopped the discbine, looked like a 9RX in the background
@@piperdoug428 oh nope. Neighbors yard we park at
Whoever the state hires to spray ditches are terrible... they kill more alfalfa and grass than anything else 😂
Could you send me a pic of the first deflector plates behind crimpers on 896?
Email me gannon.griffin0793@icloud.com
When did you get Steiger
order the football turtle shells from Deere and it fixes your plugging problem
Man this years been hard on equipment more than usual
Always something. That's a nice looking stiger sitting there
I look forward to you new video- But I have a question- after all this time, why have you not built a new barn, you need it so bad- did you not have insurance on the old barn?
No insurance and it went down on Christmas and we put it up in January. That was fun…
Well, I didn't expect Lonnie expanded my vocabulary today!!
Any chance you’d share your auto trac setting? I put it on my machine and having a tough time getting it set properly. Thanks!
How can I contact you

I have a John Deere R450 with a 995 rotary 16' header that I cut Alfalfa with and it does a good job for me in Southwest Missouri, Southwest of Springfield, Missouri. Cut about 10 acres an hour.
betcha that wasnt a cheap run to the stealership
That is one hell of a loader tractor!
That's a nice sturdy bull bar on your semi. 👍
I usually park the semi close to the stack. So the unload tractor just has to travel a short v to unload.
The tractor you were unloading with needs some grease on the loader.
😂😂
And that bale most defiantly DIDN"T go ANYWHERE!!
@8:13 yup you said the hallowed words......so whats hey per pound going over there? the newer loader is a bit squeakier than the older one lol
Around 80$ a ton depending on quality
@@GriffinRanch22 around $50 a bale?
@@piperdoug428 on the lower end
had to watch the end scene twice to understand, gotta be careful Loni, i did the same stepping off a bale feeder with a heifer behind me, landed flat on the ground on my back, could have been bad but.....
like my 90's Hondas, more metal about them
U should see the front of my quad from cows. Lol. Its not even that old
looks like an oiler is needed, especially the bull has rubbed his hair off.
Old school way of loading cattle, lots of yelling and shouting, I remember those days well. great channel keep up the good work
Where in central North Dakota are y’all
Minnewaukan
Beautiful to see your day work. Whe have a farm in the north of Sweden for 2 years now. i can learn a lot watching your video! Thanks!
I have the same questions about the tool for the net❤
Is that like a feedlot kinda?
How does those tracks run on hard surfaces? my Takeuchi has the industrial rubber on it and its rough as all heck
Great video Gannon
That native stuff would do well in wrapped silage bales, stay soft
Glad to see ya back. One good thing about that praise hay it makes good bedding. The cup programs want you to plant a grass that isn't really native around here, it's kinda orange looking and cows hate it. But when you can emergency hay crp ground it makes a great bedding. How'd you guys survive the deep freeze?
No big rush of calves till it warmed up thankfully. Was way too cold
Hope you get feeling better and all the Cavs and mommies come out fine thanks for taking me along saying hello from Utah
I almost bought a case 2470 (think that was the model) to mount a loader on for feeding in snow & mud about 30 yrs ago. It was a really easy shifting machine from forward to reverse.
Did you catch 406 Farmer videos on their JD 4wd's with butterfly Claas mowers on, really cool close up of how they're mounted and powered
I sure did. Auto steer and everything!
It's not a first. My relatives in north Central Minnesota have done it for years.
9:05 hard day at the ranch watching RUclipss in the tractor
Your dad crying because his baby needs help. 😂😂😂
funny to finally see feelings from your father, ie tears of , how much is this going to cost me !!
We had the same amount of snow also, was wet and sloppy. Sure you would notice a difference without the 84. Had rear bearing problems with a 4240 we had. At 3000 hrs, bolt fell out that holds the axle in. Had 18 bales on the stack mover was slowing down to round a corner felt like clutch went out. Went outside seen a pool of oil under the axle housing seen the axle moved outward 6 inches! Lucky no other damage other than bearings. Could have been a hell of a train wreck.
I feel your pain with the mud. We got a white Christmas. Supposed to warm up Thursday, gonna make hauling ddg a blast
Best opening line to a video yet. 😂
Really like your videos. Keep them coming. I'm impressed with the 8430 and loader. Does it work good for you? For a loader tractor do you have issues with the clutch or tranny? I have thought about doing the same thing. I have run my round baler with a 8640. Rain coming and only tractor not being used. Worked great!
No troubles yet with our loader on our 8430, knock on wood. I have heard people are scared of the front axles breaking beings we’re using single but no troubles yet
Great video! I def would love to have one of those!
Is it a n14 cummins
Yessir!
What brand is the grapple you’re running on your skid steer? Also, what width bucket around you running on it? Looks like a very nice setup to move bales with. Most grapples I’ve saw are around 1500lbs empty which takes half of the lift capacity of the machine. Do you know how heavy your bales are?
Case ih 7ft grapple bucket. 1700-1900lb bales. We are actually looking for something different for how light duty it is made and has so replaceable cutting egde
7ft Jenkins grapple bucket is what we’re looking into now
Cool, thanks for the reply!
Just stumbled upon you and love y’all’s videos
