Just as I was thinking you're paid to take the building down not the tree he tore the tree down.

Often heard on a Sunday afternoon over the PA, "Driver ____, please see the Stewards of the Meeting on the 3rd floor of the Tower". Many of the greatest road racers sat in that building for drivers meetings.

As a secretary for the local scca region, I got press passes to the run-offs when they were there. Brings back memories.

Looks like two creatures working together to devour the building; reminds me of the stop animation of Santa Claus s coming to town; I would pay to get to run that equipment! How cool.

I see myself as lucky to live in the back yard of Road Atlanta and get to run there many times a year. The video makes me want to get the car on the trailer and head to the track now!

It's going to be a very emotional end of this years edition of the Petit Le Mans. I will always remember the ALMS as one of the best racing series of the 21st Century.

Next time leave off the music and let us hear the cars and bikes.

Will this race be live on alms.com for the worldwide audience or just ESPN3?

Audi and Toyota unfortunately won't take part. World Endurance championship organisators prefer to race in front of empty grandstands on boring tracks in Asia way too often. However there will be a Toyota works engine in the Rebellion run Lola, which will make for an interesting duel between the ALMS P1-teams and Rebellion.

Damn I wish I had money to take lessons at Road Atlanta and maybe get to be a racecar driver. I only live like ten minutes away and can hear when ever someone is practicing. I guess somethings weren't meant to be.

been a big Petit Le Mans Fan for many years now, but this will be my first year at the race and I can't wait. I have been talking about this race all year long to my girlfriend, and she just wants me to shut up at this point. This going to be our first race together since we been dating and its going to be great. I can't wait for her to see it.
