I lived in Houston, I think it was around 2008 or 2009. One day I had a dentist appointment and while I was in the waiting room I picked up this magazine and read about Waymon Tisdale. I pretty much quit watching pro basketball after Hakeem Olajuwan and Bird and those guys retired so I had only heard of him on sportscenter or something like that. Anywho, it really impressed me about what kind of athlete and person he was and it really impressed me that he had a lot of music out. I bought one of his cds at a used cd shop later on that month after I heard him on the smooth jazz station that I used to wake up to. I love this type music now and may not have gave it a listen if I hadn't read that article at the dentist office that day.

I was listening to a music station that was playing an instrumental of the song "If You Want Me To Stay" that sounded really nice to listen to. When I Googled the song, I found out it was by Wayman Tisdale! So naturally I punched in my favorite song by him. He made my life easier to bare when I listened to his Hang Time CD, back in 2004. It sounds every bit as good today!
