How to Play Coffee Traders
Teaching Coffee Traders from Capstone Games. This is a great game to get out with 3 - 5 players. I've played it with 4 and with 5. I recommend 5. I know some thing it will just drag on, but it really doesn't. The last time I played with 5, it was a long game. 3 had never played before. It took 2 hours 45 minutes. That's not bad for a heavy 5-player game!

A little bit of both. I think you can get learn how to play and get a reasonable review of the game, too. This is a great game! I love playing it solo - there's a bit in there about that, too.

I appreciate your slow approach to teaching. I would rather watch an hour long teach of a heavy game than a 25min teach two or three times
May I ask where you are roughly located? We are working on a comedic script around this game. We are just having trouble even finding this game. If you have a mild interest in acting, a board game enthusiast would be a great asset. Of course that all depends on location.
And you thought HOI4 was complex lol
It'd be hilarious if it turns out they made a typo in one spot and it's not actually possible to complete a game. No one would ever know!

1976, in the barracks, we played six full turns of CFNA. Took six of us several months, and we appropriated the entire day room for it.

I bought the mega box, bit of a mistake given its ludicrous size, but it was all that was in stock, so I'm thinking a new box and now maybe this insert..... hmmmm

This game is so detailed in its scope, it is often misinterpreted as cruft or execrable. Truth is it's heavily ladened in detailed minutia, that once played can be fun as has been demonstrated. ruclips.net/video/Bikac5Ni8jU/видео.html

I love Folded Space's foray into the colored/graphical design insert market. It looks so good and is helpful for component storage.
I must have built something not flush. No matter what I do I cannot get there to be no lid lift.
Hmmm… there is minimal lid lift, but I’m not sure there’s 0. I’ll have to go back to mine and look again.
You don’t have the alchemist cards n top or the alchemist track on top, maybe?
I ended up having to take my empty filler tray in the top corner out of my box. I then moved the flask tray to the center, and split the boards on each side of the flask tray, with the bags on top of all that. Then everything fit in, including the bags, but I still have a very tiny lid lift. I haven't gotten it down to zero lid lift yet 😂.
I just ordered the essential version + the classic expansion and the mech minis pack, do you think the other two expansions are essential for the game? Thank you for this video, I am very excited to try this.
No, they are not essential. They add A TON to the game and definitely give it more life and replayability. But, play what you ordered and see.

I just ordered TI4+PoK inserts. Personally I think the glue thing is annoying, but the price difference between this and MDF variants was just too big. Also, the fact that these both fit in the core game box is a good thing in my book.
I understand. I found that I needed to glue the wooden inserts, too, at least the ones that had removable trays for gameplay required some glue. If they stayed in the box, I didn’t have to. But, price is also a HUGE factor for me.
