Rituals of My Relations

Date: March 2021
The first task with this project was to have twenty eight 8mm film reels digitized. The footage captured by my Aunt Eleanor Rakutt of Woodstock Ontario. The work now resides in a well organized digital library.
All 8mm film captured by Auntie Eleanor during my childhood from birth to 7 years of age (1962 to 1969). She documented large family gatherings: Christmas at Gramma Bonney's in Gobles, summers at the cottage on Raven Lake Dorset, harvesting tobacco on the Depaw farm in Gobles where my Mum worked summers on her friends farm and finally the Woodstock Parade.
