I had a "crush" on someone I sat across in the cafeteria once at uni and smiled at him (I ate veryyy slowly - just a habit of mine and he ate pretty normal). The next day I saw him sitting at the exact same table at the exact same time like the last time and he even ate more slowly than the day before but was to shy to sit in the empty seat across him again. He saw me coming in, I got nervous and sat at the table right beside him lol. After he ate, he waved to his friends and left. He did it in a childish manner, so I got the ick lol, but I like to think that he told his friends to leave the seat empty. So to see if we would vibe I decided to go to the cafeteria over the week at the same time, spending unnessarry money and hoping to see him again but never did. I guess that sadly won't happen anymore.

it seems my brain likes to pick someone cute to dote on and project my fantasies onto. my most recent crush, however, is someone that i actually feel comfortable and compatible with. he reminds me a lot of myself, so maybe that familiarity is keeping the crush alive as i get to know him more. we're slowly becoming friends, and i hope one day he'll like me too :3

As someone who watched movies alot connecting with fake characters (By acting), I totally agree it affected who I crushed on in real life based on looks my brain has registered the way this person looks to be someone that's nice and kind and loving or someone with depth, down to earth hence why I am not attracted to Very cute pretty girls cos in the movies and other visual content i've taken in They are portrayed to be insensitive, proud, bitter, heartbreakers so i avoid that even taking in porn too much affects who you crush on real life experience is the best and it's sad i'm just realizing that

I had a girlfriend who is now my ex. I never stopped having a crush on her. I still can't, it hurts so much. The pain doesn't go away, the tears don't stop. My brain can't comprehend that it can have a crush on people other than her. I think it thinks she can't too. But I can't take this pain anymore. I wish I could look at her beautiful face more the last time we met. I don't want to forget anything about her. We are not each other's anymore. I'm in pain.

You know I'm quite young 19 and i haven't had any crushes for years now. it makes me feel as if something is wrong with me. maybe it's my hormones or maybe i just give up and lie to myself. sometimes i wish i could experience that rush or that feelings again but i just don't anymore. I'm just very indifferent at this point. in a way it's good because it's just unnecessary as it won't be reciprocated anyway but again its a part of human experience and i feel I'm missing out on it

I really love talking to him, he makes my day and even if we are talking about sad stuff….he makes me happy. I don’t think anyone has ever had this effect on me, and I’m honestly glad it’s him. my bf and I have been together for 4 1/2 years... it's a long distance relationship and we never met IRL 😅 I was curious how evolution would make it so people can fall in love over a distance... I know I need to talk to someone and know them a bit to fall in love, but I always only heard about the smelling of another person and getting a crush that way. Very interesting, thank you!

The suppositions in your Monroe/Miller comparison are unfortunately not correct, as Arthur did not value or truly see Marylin's depth. Miller was jealous of her fame and famously wrote and rewrote the screenplay of the Misfits on set to humiliate Marylin and paint her as a dumb blonde while he had an affair during a time when she was turning up for work and acting professionally following a miscarriage - a set of circumstances which culminated in their divorce.

I had a lot of male crushes before, (I’m a Female for clarity), but suddenly, I started seeing one of my friends differently, and I felt something stronger than all those male crushes combined for her. I don’t know what happened to me but it got worse the more I knew her, we became close friends before she moved schools. That was the most painful Heartbreak I’d ever felt, and every time I found someone pretty or conversed with anyone and they crave me a compliment.. I thought of her. It’s still haunts me.

i got my first and only crush at 26. hes an unlikely actor that appeared in a dream with my cockatiel after he passed away. he showed me where my cockatiel would be in the afterlife and that he was happy. he also showed me around "the afterlife" for a while. the whole dream was bitter sweet. i didn't know this actor very well, i watched some of one thing he was in years prior. but later that year i decided to search him only to find out he died many years ago and i had no clue. the more i read about him, the more that first crush started to develop and i can understand why. i never heard of such a humble and generous actor. weird, huh

Starting with lust, you lost me. No relationship can be built from lust as lust does not come from Christ Jesus. He (Christ Jesus) is Love. Set Him before all else and everything will fall into place. Trust ONLY in Jesus Christ. He was sent to us which we call Christmas when we celebrate His birth. He died a gruesome death to pay OUR debt which is sin (lust and similar things) on a cross. And by the Grace of God The Father, He (Jesus Christ) has risen from the dead. The One Who Was, The One Who is and Who is to come. Keep your eyes on Him. I pray that those who need to see this message will find it, and that Jesus will soften their hearts and give them the understanding.

Crushes are mainly formed from a lack of information; that vividly distant yet fuzzy warmth which sparks you to discover. From my experience, having a genuine one can help you discover humane traits which interest you in pursuing love. To its essence, crushes generally contain aspects which the infatuated one has never truly acquired; leading to a sense of curiosity.

Quarantine myself because even before this video, I knew the more you are around someone, the higher the chance of being fond of them. So, staying away works for me. At least for now, I may have to find a better technique later down the road. Oh, I also use rationality and boom, crush gone.
