Costs less money to buy a car with a turbo gdi already in it than convert a non-turbo
Turbo engines are built to be stronger in many ways to handle the pressures, strain, thats put on them over and over for hopefully 150.to 200.000 thousand miles..putting a turbo on an engine not DESIGNED for it, is asking for big trouble.
Been rooting for this and the rotary for ages!!! 👏👏👏It's so exhilarating to see Mazda as a forefront Engineering Company that continues to deliver... Even in this day and age of cost-accountant-run companies! Bravo Mazda!

DistopianRegime good. Just bought a 2018 Elantra manual transmission, great gas mileage. Not very powerful but I baby it like no tomorrow. I absolutely love this car. Rides great. This 2.0 liter is engineered for fuel economy. I'm driving now getting 46 mpg!
Back to tell you 133k. 2 repairs, wheel bearing and a seeping water outlet. Total repairs under $500. Most reliable car I've ever owned. The only thing I recommend is to check oil levels between changes. However, everyone should be doing that!
