Lux Landscape Lighting | Outdoor lighting of every occasion!
I just bought this grill from Tractor Supply. I love it! It has great features, like removable aluminum drip tray that slides out for easy cleaning. It also has stainless steel burners and heat shields. Mine came with extra screws and one extra heat shield. Well worth the $220 price.
Never seen such a shitty design, about burned my deck down lid has big gap in back let's air in and produced flames like crazy, close lid still flaming!
I have one and I love it, cooks great and temps are spot on. The app makes it easy to monitor your cooks.
I ended up with these 4 small plastic cups with a hole in the bottom. What are those used for? There was nothing in the assembly instructions about them.
With the stop screw tight it will not turn to low. Only medium. Is this correct?
Havin issues with mine. Spinner plate hangs up while comin back up and then is stuck until I can get out there and straighten It out. Pretty upsetting
Great video! I assume I can leave pellets in there while doing the replacement?
I’ll leave this here incase someone has the same question, but you can totally leave the pellets in there. Easy fix. You don’t have to use a ratchet for the 7mm fire box screws. A phillips head works, may need to blow it out with an air compressor to see. If you Google “Stove & Grill Parts For Less” and look up “Cuisinart Pellet Grill Igniter-Fits Most Models” you’ll be good. Works great now! Just make sure you don’t have damp pellets if the grill has been out of commission for a while.
my knobs melted in the sun (the blue part), bad product
Useless. Will NOT keep you warm. Need to be within 6". Looks nice, and it works well enough for a pellet whatever, but as far as heat generation goes, it's a waste of money. Returning mine tomorrow.
How much
Does your even embers egg smoker put soot on your meat. Help please.
P.S., All the food ready to throw on the grill but no joy. Plus, assembly was a real pain and they didn’t include some of the parts (door hinges) so we had to pay to get them, and shipping was extra. If they were meant to be in the box we bought, why charge extra for what you forgot to add?
We have a new one. We can only get one or two burners to light. 😞
Why are there no videos of this grill in use?
I have a question about the final step of tightening the screws on the knobs. What happens if they won’t tighten. Is that a major issue
Where can I buy this thermocouple?
Can twin oaks controller be swapped for this one ?
I was wondering the same thing!
@@dp6770 Same here. I broke the rotary switch moving my Oakmont and need to replace the circuit board because the rotary switch is integrated. Even Embers has the entire controller available for purchase but a little more than I wanted to spend.
This was extremely helpful. Thank you for the upload.
Is this process similar for the WoodCreek 4in1 pellet smoker?
When removing the LP valves, do they get replaced when you put everything back or do those stay out?
Got mine yesterday!
I just bought this grill today at Tractor Supply. I already assembled it but I haven't plugged it in yet that will happen tomorrow. I am disappointed that it didn't come with a top shelf (warming rack). Is there a top rack that can be purchased for it? Also are there any cast iron (searing grates) for it?
How long does 10lbs of pellet last you?
Attach that front left bracket before the grease trap. Even my wife's tiny hands couldn't get in there with the nut for the bottom screw. Removing the trap made it way easier.
Do you like this pellet grill, I’m thinking about getting me one never had one always cooked with charcoal, but tired of adding charcoal on long cooks so would like to try this cheap one before spending a lot on one
I just got mine today! Summer Sale and reading the comments! Thanks folks! I am Happy to hear this!
I'm definitely going to purchase this!! I've been looking at different pellet grills on the market, and this is the BEST bang for the buck. Awesome reviews throughout all platforms of social media. I would love to get mine in a OD Green 🥰 if possible? Marine Veteran Semper FIDELIS I will pass word how good this product is.. And possibly post a video once I get mine!!
The “manual” is a picture book lol there is literally no instructions. Giant waste. Junk pile. Hundreds of pieces. Can’t wait to return it tomorrow.
Imagine a smoker commercial with no smoke
What is the Chain inside the door used for?
It would have been nice to know about this before I completed installation. It would have been even nicer if this info had been in the original instructions and I didnt have a month of crappy grilling and frustration before I randomly came across this video.
Did you replace the orfaces or just remove them)?
Where is the battery compartment? Can’t find and igniters don’t work. Thanks
There are no batteries; the Piezo igniter works on friction.
@@movick5657 I am not the person asking BUT thanks for the information. I purchased a GAS2400AS already assembled at Tractor Supply and did not receive an Assembly Manual. I wondered re the ignitor as the TROUBLE SHOOTING matrix mentions 'battery'; but, I found no evidence of one. Again Thanks.
@@cyberboxx You're quite welcome! Those piezo ignitors can be a bit tempermental at times, so I make sure to slowly rotate the temp knob whilst depressed, holding in for a couple of seconds - then I rapidly snap the knob to activate the ignitor. Cheers!
I bought one of these grills last Christmas but didn’t put it together until recently. It’s turned out to be a good grill considering cost and not much information out there about it. Got it from tractor supply. I am very pleased with it. Quality seems very good and and it works very well. I’ve run some jerky through it and smoked a chuck roast last week. Heat distribution was great and the roast came out beautiful. It was very tender and juicy and the smoke ring was perfect. I have no complaints what so ever😊
Does it smoke fairly well? Give a good bark?
@@DezMusic247 Mine does.
Just picked mine up today. Assembly instructions could be a little better. I paid $200 for it on sale, so I'm happy so far. Seems well made, maybe a little thin, so if you're in a colder climate, it might not hold heat that great.
Just got mine today too thank god it was Allready built lol
I just got one too!
@@alexbones5173 you clean out the ash??
Something about this just doesn’t seem right… Ceramic grills like a Kamado or BGE are designed to hold and consistently maintain heat vs a traditional pellet grill that consistently swings between highs and lows to trigger the mechanism to increase or decrease the temperature. I’d like to see what a long cook on one of these looks like as far as consistency in temperatures
I own one and I have had really good cooks out of this. There is not mush swing in the temperatures and hold its consistency. I have smoke many chicken, brisket, Turkey, ribs hotdog. hamburgers. I have also done allot of veggies. It is a really good grill and smoker.
@@mammamias-smokehouse4699 How much smoke does it produce? I watched a video on RUclips that showed no smoke and it was more like an oven. Does it smoke and does it add smoke flavor?
@@charleshipp2477 yes it does produce smoke but it’s not as heavy as a charcoal smoker or a stick burner. If you go too high of heat it’s less but low and slow you will get a great taste.
Holds temp in windy and cold weather as well done very long cooks and is very consistent
I was hoping to see some good comments here🤷♂️🙄
Bought the 2420 for a friend as a housewarming gift based on reviews at the Tractor Supply website and this one for myself after returning a Weber Spirit II that was damaged in shipping. People are going to think I'm a paid shill, but these grills are legit. I can't *believe* you're selling them so cheaply. Like, I'm even the only comment. I feel like I possess secret knowledge.
Yes i am thinking you're a cheapass peasant, since these grills are really cheapass crap made with crap materials.... Firebox will be gone in a year... not even closely comparable to a weber or napoleon, rosters are even worse, table is unstable.. good luck, nobody wants these crap grills
This thing's amazing. It's 1:1 against a Weber at less than half the price. Solid. Very well made. I expected a cool spot front and center because of the rubber stoppers on the bottom of the lid and removed them before first use -- and ironically found a very slight hot spot there instead. Don't care. I'm leaving them off and recommending this grill to everyone.
Thanks for this feedback. I'm looking to purchase this one or the GAS1466AS. Two questions - does it always require a match to light or does the friction igniter simply require a turn of the knobs? I saw a few people note this as downside. Also, do you know if you can use soap/water or other solution to clean the grates? I was initially going for stainless grates, but it appears Even Embers website doesn't have stainless grates that are compatible with this model.
@@ronniekister Happy to help! It does *not* require a match to light. My buddy has the grill featured here and I have a GAS2400AS -- each of the 4 knobs has its own independent electric ignition and we've both been using them all summer without issue. Just open the gas and then turn the knobs to ignite whichever burners you want to use. I'm curious about what caused those reviews you read to say they needed matches. The porcelain the cast iron grates are coated with is textured, but I don't see how washing them with soap and water would be any different than washing a Dutch oven. I haven't bothered hand washing because salmon and NY strip aren't very messy and that's all I've been grilling. I'll hand wash my grates this weekend and tell you how it went.
@@ndzapruder Thanks. I appreciate your insight. This makes me feel a lot better about the ease of lighting it. We just received our grill today in time for the holiday weekend and look forward to getting it put together!
@@ronniekister Awesome! (pro-tip: you get way better grill marks with the flat side facing up!)
You are the same guy who commented something similar on another video. You are just the seller.... it's 100% not equal to a weber variant. Its 100% cheaper and crappier. Firebox is cheap and very weak, grates are cheap. Burners are just below minimum standard chinese tubes. Stop putting fake bullshit on the Internet. After one year it will already degrade. Table and standard are wobbly and very unstable. Just admit you can't afford a decent grill... like Weber or Napoleon. That's why you're constantly hating on them... while you never ever had one in real life... otherwise you wouldn't say this crap... like it's equal.... whahahah.
What kind of crimp-on wire connectors do I need to get to replace my igniters? My replacements came with no ends.
Tip... don't buy these crap bbqs
I'm trying to replace the igniters, burners and covers on my Even Embers grill but I don't know where the ends of the wires (for igniters) attach. Can I get an assist please?
Anybody have this?
Just got one. Works fine and built pretty well for a $300 smoker. No wireless capability but holds temp well and plenty of space. I’m smoking some ribs now and just came here looking for some more ways to play with the smoke settings.
This is the 2nd summer cooking on ours works just as good as any! The only thing we have never tried was smoking a brisket but I picked one up tonight an plan on smoking it all day tomorrow I’ll update this post and let everyone know how it comes out!
@@jjnichols705 How did it come out? Thinking about picking one of these up from Tractor Supply on sale this week
I ran into a salesman at a box store, said that his home insurance company required an onsite inspection... had a fireplace, patio heater and shop stove. They required a certified hearth and fireplace technician inspection. Each fire device cost $200 for the inspection. Only the mason fireplace past. By the time he made the necessary changes he had spent $700. The patio heater had to have all stove pipe replaced with the male fluted end pointing down. The shop stove had HVAC tin parts requiring wood stove type A stove piping... total redo to meet clearances... bottom line. If its wrong... don't buy it. Fix it right the first time... don't go cheap. You void your home insurance by DIY and using non certified wood stove materials.
Question: The stove exhaust pipe has a fluted ribbed end and a smooth end. Which position up or down does the ribbed fluted end go? Why? Certified stove technicians know. You might consider certification.
Does Even embers sale a rotisserie accessory?
Two things. Groovy music. And nice right hand and left hand mechanics. I want one of the these stoves.
This would be an awesome addition to my new homes back deck. It would be perfect to keep me warm while I'm producing winter time homebrew content.
What is the little rod attached to the chain for ??
For years I never knew either. One day I finally stumbled across the answer - It's to hold a match if you need to light it that way!
Lmao it would be nice if they would have explain that in the manual
It would be nice if there was actual sound to go along. Took us forever
Why won't it load past the first 30 seconds. All I want is to see the infrared system.
the reason there are no comments for this video is because by the time people finish watching this insanely boring video they are dead. yes, dead from boredom and lack of information...
Really hard to see natural gas flame ignition. The anti flare up covers over the burner tubes make it tough to see if ignition occurs. I’ve also got two burners that intermittently do not light. Not especially happy with the grill, having to light burners manually.
