What if at the end of the remake, it turns out Raiden was playing a simulated mission(MG remake) of the events just before MGS2 starts? It would explain changes in character names etc. Just like Raiden experienced the "true events" of shadow moses. That way it's not only a remake, but an alternative telling of the MG series. We'd obviously know what the real events were via the original MG games.

I completely disagree. Why remake metal gear if you’re gonna throw everything out what you’re saying is nonsense, they might as well just make a new game what they need to do is make a faithful remake and reimagine its elements for the modern generation they don’t need to throw everything out when they have a solid foundation. They can tie things in better than they ever could before now that we have all those past prequel games to fill in some of the gaps, there’s no need to make a whole new characters. It’s OK to use what we have just reimagine it there’s enough of a blank slate to imprint what they want on those characters while maintaining the foundation of what made metal gear one and two good games

it doesn't take a 17 minute video to tell you why Metal Gear 1 and 2 need Remakes. They're extremely old games with dated gameplay released exclusively in Japan for the first 15 years of their ife until they came bundled with certain editions of MGS3. Easy Peasy.

Informative Video Professor, Liked to see camera man having his own dedicated moment section, MM4 is my favorite in the 2nd trilogy, heck its probably my favorite in the initial hexalogy, its a very solid game that I always enjoy when i get back to it, the special weapons are all useful and the introduction of the iconic charge shot makes it oh so fun. The Robot Masters all have fun designs, personalities, and unique history. My favorites would have to be Skull, Pharaoh, and Drill, they have some good mix of appearance, stages, and boss fights. Good job cataloging particle everything's, really digging deep on what these games have to offer, your descriptions on every aspect is always intriguing to hear. Always a fan to hear reviews of games like Mega Man and your case study series is fun to listen to, If I had one thing to critique however is that the wily is behind sherade isnt bad in this one because in the previous game he was presumed dead so the characters have no reason to think its him until he gets revealed, unlike the next two where they know wily is still alive and active. Well done case study professor, glad to have seen your special weapon and buster only runs and hope my advices helped, good work on that video glad i finally caught up to this one, hope to see what you got next in store.

We was gonna get a remake of metal gear that’s was coming after the phantom pain . Konami got rid of Kojima . It was leading up to that and it was kinda gonna make solid snake kinda like the antagonist because of he was under the patriots / Foxhound. To me theses 2 games important needs a remade than metal gear solid from the late 90’s

I loved the Mega Man series back in the day. Mega Man 2 took me two years to beat, but after that I had mastered the gameplay mechanic and plowed through the subsequent games. Ended on Mega Man 4, because I had to get a job and be responsible, which didn't allow much time for gaming. Ah, brings back memories.
