It’s my head canon that the reason doctor Schroeder took milahy’s grandchildren away from the frontline is because he somehow used them to make these two drones. You can hear the drones singing like them in this cutscene , and the two drones seem to care about each other like siblings (they get angrier if you shoot the other down). They seem to be almost sentient, so maybe Schroeder put copies of the girls’ conscience into the drones, which would also maybe foreshadow electrospere? Why else would he take them? I don’t think Schroeder is a pdf file. Maybe he needed the drones to have a mind similar to milahy’s (like those of relatives) in order to truly fly like him.

The most terrifying thing about ac7 is how, through the use of drones, and ai, it is directly linking itself to ac3. In ac3 throughout all of the storylines the player can take, the writers make sure to point out how the main character(Nemo) is silent, and it’s not in a way that’s comedic like how count talks about how he’s happy that trigger keeps his mouth shut, the writers directly draw attention to how Nemo is completely silent and has pretty much no emotion behind how they fly, it’s even a bit disturbing how the characters will try to interact with Nemo and try to illicit a response from them and get nothing in return. That is because Nemo is not a human character in any way, shape, or form. They are an ai program, with the sole purpose of learning how to efficiently kill and make decisions(like Z.O.E in ac2 or the drones in ac7) but it goes even farther than that, as despite showing no emotions, it actually displays sentience through how it makes decisions, and by that I mean how WE make decisions. Because we are controlling Nemo, we are inadvertently giving life to them and granting them sentience through our own human responses. In a way we have created a completely new life form that is superior to humans in every way. This is all to say that ac7 is inadvertently one of the most terrifying games in the series, because despite all the legendary ace pilots and giant flying super weapons, it still tells us exactly how the world will end up in the future, with ai waging an endless war against humanity.

Imagine in an alternate universe where the ai for huginn and muninn is actually based on the consciousness of mihaly's granddaughters combined with data containing mihaly's combat experience then when you fight them you can hear them sing lalala and laughing like a child while showering you with missiles that would be terrifying .
