Getting to watch him, Mercer, Maglore, Muhammad, Delk, Walker and all the other boys at Rupp Arena back in the day was a true experience. I'm very spiritual. Just one look at a photo of Billy as a rising senior in Street & Smith. I could tell that he was spiritual too. Today, Pastor Billy Thompson and his wife Cynthia, are bringing many to Christ, with Billy as the lead Pastor. I just want to mention, future NBA stars, Wayman Tisdale and Kenny Walker were also sensational basketball players for the class of 1982 (my senior year).

Billy won a couple of chips with the Lakers in one with the Louisville Cardinals.

I still remember that no look pass he received from Magic when he played for the Lakers. 😁

Very well made !!! The two basketball HOF players I always remember/think of in commercials or PSA's are Michael "Air" Jordan & "Shaq" Shaquille O'neal. Whether it was for Nike, Rebbok, McDonalds, Pepso, Coca Cola, Warner Bros. or some movie etc. both men where heavily involved in various commercials! Who did most I don't know (?)
