Always try to control the game by keeping possession of the ball if you have space and boost. A lot of players in the c2/c3 range tend to boom the ball away when they don’t have to. Also learning how to keep a fast pace off 2-3 pads will help a lot with transitions you don’t always need to go for the 100 boost. Just pick up a couple pads and go upfield. Even on defense most shots can be saved with just 1-2 pads. Bumping is op as well if you beat one guy always look for a bump play in the 2v1. If you wanna go the extra mile you guys can watch back your replays, hind sight always makes the mistakes you made appear obvious. Just type broadcast assist for rocket league on google you’ll find it. It’s only an OBS overlay meaning I can’t see it in game but it looks good for the vid

Focus on managing boost by picking up small pads, maintaining good rotations don’t ballchase, and practicing with purpose in free play by focusing on one thing like flicks or resets until you’ve got them down. Pay attention to what other players are doing when they beat you and try to copy them. If you want to go the extra mile you can watch your own replays from your tm8s pov to see how many mistakes you truly make

Biggest thing is probably look for demos more often, pretty much the only reason I’m gc2 lol. That along with not diving/using fake challs more, try to avoid leaving your tm8 in a 1v2 as much as possible. I still dive chall and take myself out of the play a lot, been trying to work on that
