I hate to say this, but derek's slides against the frets do not sound good. Duane was a much smoother slide player. More finesse less extraneous rattling against the frets.

Esta versión de Flay me es estraordinaria. Supera a todas las demás versiones que ella misma tiene del tema. Las tiene con orquesta de cuerda y otros grupos. Nada, ninguna gana a esta en ese elemento rítmico básico del jazz que es el swing. Y esto es debido sin duda al tempo elegido por ella que junto con su acompañante al excelente bajo John Clayton consiguen una pieza para la Historia, camino de 10 millones de visualizaciones, prueba de lo que digo.Añadamos que la versión de Sinatra se queda desangelada, al lado de esta. Enhorabuena Diana Krall, eres muy grande ya...

A lotta men can't swing half as hard as Diana.... I shouldn't feel compelled to say that in 2021, but I do in large part because there's a lot of imposters still needing to be called out! Right Woodpecker?!?

Beautiful music, wonderful performance, top jazz skills, amazing singer, classy pretty Diana.
At 1:22 to 1:27, Diana is very reminiscent of the great Oscar Peterson. And I mean that as a huge compliment.

¡Cómo pasa el tiempo! La primera vez que oí a D. K. iba por los 5 mlls de visualizaciones. Ya lleva mas de 9 y sigue tan llena de fuerza en esta version que no ha conseguido en otras ¿Por qué? Aquí ha elegido el tempo muy bien, compartiendo un swing muy fuerte con el grande John Clayton y ella toca plenamente en la escuela de Oscar Peterson, el mejor boper de la historia del piano, sobre todo al entrar en la improvisación armónica de la segunda parte... (min. 1:28). Ya no toca ni canta igual. Se ha comercializado cantando con Tony Bennet, ganando suavidad y elegancia blanca. Si, se ha blanqueado... Pero ha ganado en musicalidad. Al fin y al cabo Bennett es hoy todavia el mejor cantante de jazz, conservando la voz en plenas facultades hasta sus últimas grabaciones. Loor a estos interminables musicos...

Yukarıda ayarlarda video yavaşlatma var, o da yardımcı olur sanıyorum.
