Neck Workout for Trampwall!
Hey everyone!
If you've ever taken trampwall workshops or lessons with me, there's a good chance you've done a variation of this- I often use a shorter version as an active neck warmup before the wall running begins 🙃
Good luck and have fun!

Run to Handstand Trampwall Tutorial!
Where do I find these facilities with trampwalls like this?
@@jathan7145 this particular facility is the Las Vegas Circus Center; many circus gyms have trampwall setups, as do many trampoline parks, but they will all vary in quality and size (of both the walls and the trampoline itself)
🔥Merry Christmas!! Keep it up!!
Thank you! Merry Christmas to you too!
You're a whole different breed bro!
Ha, thank you!
That's so cool 🎉🎉
Thank you!
Definitely gonna screen record this one for analysis 😂 🔥
Ayyy 🙏🏻🙏🏻 it’s all about flipping uncomfortably slowly and not trying to survive 😂😅
uff, the bail at 6:49 is what i was imagining the whole time! Thanks for the tutorial :)
Aha! That crash was hurt a lot- it definitely ended my session that day, but it could have been so much worse; better than winding up on my neck! Hope the tutorial helps, it's a truly fun trick once the technique clicks!
Didn't know this existed
@@Weakthenics it’s a pretty niche one! If you want to learn, I made a tutorial a few years ago- it’s more about balance and joint stacking than strength ruclips.net/video/NH59k5VHSMs/видео.htmlsi=APNi06opZ9dg_4rI 👊🏻🙃
@ScottMcDonaldAcrobat oh definitely ill try to learn it sometime
Ay! This is great! I don't do much tramp wall recently but I did start Muay Thai, and I get ~gently~ booped in the head quite a bit 🥊💁🏻♀️ this practice is probably helpful for that as well. Also I was remembering a conversation we had about tramp wall and micro concussions but couldn't remember the outcome. Do you know if regular tramp wall training causes measurable brain damage?
This will definitely help stabilize ye olde neck when you’re getting booped! As for the studies, we shall see!
Another banger sir
Thank you very much!
Essa cama elástica é sua?
No, it’s at the Las Vegas Circus Center
Correct landing photo should show hands on the bed. And fingers should always point forwards. These are major issues to prevent spine injury and elbow dislocation
Hi there Trevor, thank you for your input! Much appreciated! I'm a little confused about the first sentence, though- when did I show landing with the hands off the bed? I rewatched the video but couldn't find what you were referring to (unless it's one of the parts where I'm demonstrating what to avoid). Also, I'm very much in agreement about avoiding elbow dislocation and injury in general, but I'm curious- how does pointing the fingers forward decrease the risk of spine injury? Thank you and I look forward to chatting further, I'm always happy to learn more 🙃
Make an aerial windmill( windmill from breaking but on air) its almost like this.
❤😂😅😊🐶😇🥰🙏🐕✌️🤗👌🥳
Great form! Keep pushing yourself, you're doing awesome!
Thank you!
I want a day # count!
Ha, infinite days until I’ll consider it solid and good enough to count
whatt i love no 4!
It's a super fun one! It was very disconcerting to lose sight of the trampoline when I was first learning them!
This is one element I've never really understood. Will definately give it a go later today!! Thank you as always Ps: the turntable full is absolutely crazy
Oh really?? I've got a tutorial for turntable here, I suspect you'll pick them up very very quickly! ruclips.net/video/SXtvF2yVngE/видео.htmlsi=scNeSiAR289mAaOy
Fav is 2... no 3... no 4... no 5! maybe 6? Yeah they all win
Ayyy thank you! I really enjoy how the pike 1.5 feels. So much acceleration in there!
Wow man that's crazy cool and strong balance
Thank you!
His back muscles 🥶💯🔥

Very cool🎉
Thank you!
cool
Thank you!
@@ScottMcDonaldAcrobat I never tried trampoline , with which trick should I start? Can you do a front lever tutorial ? I can pull up with additional 20 kg 3 times.
@@dukenukem8381 I'll be putting out some videos on precisely that subject soon, but in the meantime I would recommend starting with seat drops. I've got a tutorial here: ruclips.net/video/QaipJ3zTFC8/видео.htmlsi=tXn3J8gERrlYpplg After that, I would recommend swivel hips, which I also have a tutorial for
Already exhausted, nice video!
Ha, thank you! It’s a tough one!
Was that three or four flips? Fun combo!
Thank you! 🙃
Pull full?
Super close! It’s a full down, so basically the same but just taking off from feet instead of back
When I was six I went there for gymnastics I used to love it there 😢
Nice! It’s a great space!
tutorialll! this is sick
Thank you! The short version is... do a flatspin, once you're about halfway through twist and let yourself lose sight of the bed, then regain sight of it and try to make it back to square 😂😅
thats freaking crazy athletic
Hey, thank you very much! If you wanna learn how to do this yourself, here's how it works 👊🏻 ruclips.net/video/-GJB3yE_0pg/видео.htmlsi=X167iv2FiblRlmHM
Just realized how sketchy and fake that link looks haha, it's called a pop swipe and there's a tutorial on my channel 😂😅
In my mind the difference between a front toilet bowl and a table turn full twist is almost negligible
glad to have discovered your channel
Thank you! I hope you find it helpful!
Flatspin full
Great footage
Thank you!
tabletop fulltwist
Concussion drop 😭
@@TheOGLaws ahah hopefully not!
Any variation at all besides the tuck is such a step up that "beginnner variation" feels like an oxymoron. Straddle looks SOOO much like an airdrop. All of the last 3 look totally insane I wanna try em.
I honestly agree- I had mostly played with straddle in terms of different shapes, but the only "variations" I spent much time doing in the past were 1.5, double, full twist, double full twist etc. All the variations are trickyyyyy! Just wait for the foot grab pikes in the next video 🤓
i really like doing pike table turns and overrotating for 1 and 1/2 or double turntables as well. videos have been amazing recently keep it up!!!
@@roberthughes1700 thank you! Pikes, 1.5s and doubles are coming in parts 2 and 3 🤓🤘🏻
Thanks for your vídeos !
👊🏻☺👊🏻
Good job. Banger song aswell
Thank you! Great band!
Amazing work! Great song choice too btw
Thank you! Can't go wrong with LP 👊🏻
It was very quick for a back full
That’s because it wasn’t a regular back full 🤓🙃 Twas a full down!
So sick
@@itsflippinnick thanks man! Come play!
Double back jump
Why can’t we do this at home it’s so easy lol
Good point 😂
Just don’t have a ghost stab tou
The full is kinda hard tho I will give u that

I would love to see a 540 cradle tutorial. Wall and trampoline. Different arm sets for twisting and how to keep them straight with tilt twist and contact twist!
Cheers Luke! I've got one for the wall version of a 540 cradle but not the trampoline one yet! I'll make something about twisting techniques at some point, but I think I could condense all of it into "tear your shoulder labrum so you can't lift your arm above waist height, put your hand in your pocket, keep training like normal and realize that you don't actually need arms to twist or flip" haha
Here's the 540 cradle on wall tutorial btw: ruclips.net/video/eXeH0Iubl7A/видео.htmlsi=0aHZxkPXZ81lCVBa

Professional use of dabs
@@katchzed 😂😂 finally got my golden opportunity
I noticed that if I bend the knees when I hit the bed and straighten them as i go up for 1/4 drill, it works much better than if i keep them straight all the time
Yes! It’s deliberate. The reason I say to keep them straight in the video is to make sure you’re pulling with the arms; it works much better with bent legs but some people don’t get the pull correct.
Actually sorry, I misinterpreted your comment initially and just want to clarify- you're doing it correctly; your knees should be bent as you land on your stomach so the feet don't hit the trampoline, then they extend as you get airborne. Having your legs extended like this will make you rotate slower, so adding the tuck after you get used to pulling yourself around to the halfway mark should make the rest of the trick fairly approachable 👊🏻
@@ScottMcDonaldAcrobat thanks!
I can turn 180 or 270, try 360 next time!!
You got it! 🙌🏻🙌🏻
I can only get 1/2, probably opening too early... 🤔
It's definitely been the primary issue in most of the people I've watched learn! It's usually a mixture of 2 or 3 different things, but that one tends to have a big effect.
