More timing advance will also help that high altitude.

What do you do if you only have one key?

You’ll need to bring it to the dealership. They can get it from the on board computer. Or look in your owner’s manual in the glove box for a card with the code printed on it. Good luck.

Wow, this really works. Except I let it have 4 chimes instead of three. Make sure you aren't turning on the engine, just tap on the Start button (no foot on the brake). I put the fat end of the remote to my right, in its little groove. am eternally grateful for this. Saved me a trip to the dealer. You can also find a video here about taking the panel under the glove compartment off and the code is written in tiny numbers on a sticker. You need to have a kid cliimb into the foot well for that! Or maybe an iphone on a long selfie stick.....

Sounds like the tuning kit is worthless

FYI for anybody just now starting. I'm a 350 sbc stock. Edelbrock performer intake and 4bbl old school carter 9635s carburetor which is same as edelbrock. 1 5/8 long headers in NC... I'm at #18 on chart before it ran good. It burns tires off till u get bored lol. From stock setup it was a dog A 2bbl beetle would beat it before!!! It was a dog and bogged on the hit!!! Horrible. Now, totally awesome. 401 primary, 98 secondary, 4237 rods, and orange springs. 5 psi on regulator. Just sharing because I spent months and countless hours and 2 carb rebuilds before I landed on the perfect fit. Good luck. I think it's scaled at 8 %rich all total

Im going form SLT to sea level can you tell me what I should be using? I dont have an idea how to read the charts, I just bought the car from a guy in SLT and the car is running badly. Needs carb calibration

At sea level the stock calibration is what you’re looking for. Main Jet 1427, metering rod 1459, and secondary jet 1426.

Yep, I had done the same tuning as well. Vernal sits at 5300 ASL, but I didn't want to go too lean as that I do drive my '68 C10 at lower elevations at times (Salt Lake, Grand Junction), so I kept it at 6% as well.

Hi Jon, Your video was very helpful to me. I'll be installing a new Edelbrock #1407 750 CFM on a Ford 460. The owners manual doesn't include the Calibration Chart they referred to in the DVD but I found it online. I live at 7800 ft alt, and don't go below 6000 ft. Thanks for sharing brother, Bill

Bill Lutsch, you’re welcome. Glad the video helped you out. Don’t forget to check your spark plugs after driving a bit and adjust as needed.

Hi Jon, I have the same carb and I live in Utah as well! How would you say the calibration affected driveability, fuel mileage, performance, etc.? Kevin

Kevin Vite - After running this tune, it ran well at higher that 5k feet. It was too lean below that and would turn plugs whitish. The stock tune is sufficient for Utah elevation because the carb is jetted for lean fuel economy. If you stay above 5k feet this is a good tune.

Jon Erickson Thanks for the video and your prompt reply. I will plan on leaving the stock tune when install my new powerblast plate.
