    Mark, what hook is that? It looks like a firehole 718 BL, but that hook looks stronger. I've been tying for the last couple of years on Fulling Mill grab gape hooks, which look similar except for the eye.

      First one’s I’ve tied but have not fished it yet. With foam you could tie any color you want and also use felt to add a mottled look .

    Great tie, as usual. Sure wish Stillwater Solutions dubbings and chenilles were still on the market. They had some great products and colours in their range.

      This was for a young girl who likes watching tying videos. I would use it on trout and salmon in rivers

      Thank you. Was actually not thrilled with this tie compared with the one in the image as the fibres were a little kinked up but once they get wet it doesn’t matter.
