Some people get offended no ,matter what we say, we're all just humans trying to comfort each other. I lost my partner to cancer and could have been offended by some of the words coming from well meaning people but I realised they just didn't know what to say and meant well, we don't need to put our own meaning to what someone else says. Going to the cancer ward was one of the hardest things I've had to do, whatever I said to someone to offer support while there came from a place of respect and good intent, if they took it the wrong way I don't have any control over that.

Lost my wife in April after a three and a half year battle with cancer that metastasized 3 times. Every appointment was a stressful time. Good luck to you.

I’ve been in a jeep., my son’s. They definitely are not a smooth ride. I leave with my back aching. It’s definitely a rough ride. I would not want to travel in a jeep in that condition. I’m glad you took charge of what was best for you.

I went to magic kingdom during spring break with 2 autistic kids ( twins) one with extreme anxiety and one with dmdd. We only did the water park part lol but no one cried and no o e got punched so it was a good day!!!!
