Parasocial loser get a life this is so pathetic to make a video over lmao
This will probably be the biggest thing you do in your entire life that is so pathetic lmao
One day, someone is going to tag one of this ushigaki's ears.
I found the Yu-Gi-Oh manga in my school's library, and it's what taught me how to read manga. There was a simple explanation on the back (The American front) page telling me how. Autism be damned, I can read a fucking book.
*_poggers_*
Nnnnnope!
muyu so cute, muyu archive!!!
I <3 Muyu
Muyu is so precious, must be protected at ALL costs
The real mindfuck is getting used to reading manga right to left and then reading some of the older one's where it's left to right.
What’s all this sugar? I thought this was a salt shaker!

Thank you, Pippa! Very cool!
Is it moral to put Pippa in the jar?
my darling princess

Peak book gameplay
The duality of Pippa
Sounds like Pippa's first manga experience was her first comic experience overall.
Instagram?
I read scanilations online for years before I picked up a legit manga without a single beat missed.
Man, when I first started reading manga as a kid(my mates copies of dragonball) I not only fucked up reading the panels but which end of the damn thing to read from.
YEAH PIPPA, FUCKIN' GRIP IT N RIP IT, BABY!
I've read a lot of light novels. The 4 biggest series I've read so far are Re0 (22 vols), Magical Girl Raising Project (16), Didn't I say to Make my Abilities Average in the Next Life (15) and How NOT toSummon a Demon Lord (14) and I've always preferred anime in dub. I'm too incompatible for sub. I like understanding what I hear. It'd probably become 2nd nature if I watched sub more, but I'm not interested
I had no issues, because I only ever read it online. The pages were top to bottom. I would be confused too if I bought a book and had to turn the pages backwards.
Skill issue on Pippa's part. Also the same people who whine about subtitled foreign shows are the same ones who watch English language shows with subtitles.
Not only do I not have trouble reading manga, but I can switch back and forth between manga and regular comics without any problems. The real trick is when they mirror the manga to make it "normal." Not only does it mess with my expectations but sometimes the bubbles don't line up properly anymore.
Half the time I can’t even tell if I’m supposed to go left or down
It’s tough when it’s a long intense action scene where the characters are yelling at one another through out it. You do have to choose whether to watch the action or read the dialogue, thus rewinding and watching again is a must. Another tough go is when there are two conversations going on in the scene and they choose to either print both lines at the bottom in different colors, or place lines on the top and the bottom. Very difficult. The Monogatari series was good for that.
It depends on the mangaka. I’ve read manga where he/she would get creative with the size and placement of the frames sometimes on a single page or so, and you could read them out of order. What can get confusing is the onomatopoeia placement on action scene pages. Because of the fonts used, and not being in balloons, they can’t put in the English equivalents without ruining the art so the indication of what was making the sounds is muddled. Still, better then the old flipped manga like from Darkhorse where they sometimes had to put the text into different balloons for continuity and the balloons could be of the wrong size for the amount of text. Art always took priority over text.
That's right, Pippa. I know how to read, so I can watch my shit subbed. Git gud, dub nerds. lol
A lot of fully localized manga will have a page at the end explained that they are read from right to left and explaining the proper read order for the speech bubbles.
J
I don't read THAT much manga but it's given me the opposite problem of misreading English by starting to scan it from the right.
Wow, she does a great impression of a Mercy main
*One type of Mercy Main "Cawwee me pwease OWO" vs "GENJI GET YOUR SHINY METAL ASS OUT OF THE ENEMY SPAWN AND HELP PUSH THE DAMN CART!"
@@Twister980 lmaoooo yeah Mercys either get carried or is the whole damn backbone of a team.
Rabbit doesn’t know how to read Left to Right.
I grew up reading comics, i had zero issues when i switched to manga
cringe bs 🤡💩
especially when there's several panels on the top and one looooong panel going down the side it's like bro what's happening?
J
No reverb?
Pippa can read!?
No, that's why she's having all these problems
People these days have it a lot easier. Back when I got into anime, some of my first shows were Slayers and Kare Kano. Where the main characters were famous for talking so fast, two lines of dialogue would go by in a second. And the subtitles were eye popping bright yellow. Since then, I've never had trouble keeping up with subtitles.
first manga i ever read was blood ladd in the hifh school library and i read it left to right until i got to the end of the first one and it said to read right to left
literal skill issue. pippa need to check her eye. i literally have no problem reading manga since i was 9
Reading is a skill issue. You either have dyslexia or you’re bad at it. No excuses.
It's not that hard. It's literally just a comic-book that goes the other way.
Real 4-dimensional homies read manga back-to-front and front-to-back simultaneously as a translational function of time through the space continuum.
This sounds like a skill issue, lmao I opened a manga backwards the very first time I picked a manga up in highschool, realized, and then turned it around... never had an issue with panel layout or anything it's literally as simple as just following right to left, haha There were 100% a few times where i'd go to muscle memory flip it open like a normal book, but not only is there splash art on the cover, but in the back of most EN TL'd physical manga there's a page that says "Stop, you've opened this book backwards!" xD Also my first manga for reference was M.A.R. Vol 3 & 4 lent to me from a friend at school, I remember it quite well
What's really fucked is going from Manga to Western Comic, back to Manga, and so on and so forth, you get used to one then you have to go and get used to the other and you keep fucking up randomly and reading out of order.
THIS is the only time i'll get slight issues, when i don't know it's a digital western manga/JP flipped manga and the panel structure isn't designed well enough to guide your eye naturally I'll have to read several pages before i can figure out whether it's right to left or left to right that you need to read the pannels, haha
I've gotten used to both directions after I got a few Chinese series mixed into my follows on Mangadex, so I can switch mode easily. What trips me up these days are those little 4 panel newspaper style strips. Somehow they activate both reading modes at the same time, so my initial instinct is to start reading those in the middle! What caused me the most headache though was the vertical 4-koma style, read top to bottom and then right to left. It's not complicated at all, but my brain really, REALLY wanted to follow the panels horizontally. Took me something like 15 chapters to get used to, and I still get it wrong from time to time.
even worse is when it's a western comic but with a manga artstyle so you think it's manga
The yabbit isn't very smart... I started reading manga when I was like 10yo and never had issue with panel order. Just one exception - some shoujo manga have messed up panelling, to the point where authors get confused and are inconsistent.
that's when you know its fucked
