If I learned anything about American's taste in food is that if it's not brown or overcooked they think it's poison lmao. Some of y'all in these comments been raised on Walmart chicken that was cooked till it was as dried as concrete and it really shows. Someone here tried to argue that this isn't cooked well since the skin isn't crispy. My brother in Christ...it was simmered in a bladder, that chicken basically spent a few hours in a very wet sauna, how on earth could that have come out crispy? Some of these guys can't even boil an egg properly yet they have the goal to claim that a renowned dish from one of the best restaurants in the world is not only not delicious, but UNSAFE FOR CONSUMPTION??? The gaul and delusion here are WILD. You might wanna read up on what are the benefits of cooking it like this and what that does for the taste and the juiciness before leaving stupid remarks that are driving people away from something that should be admired.

Oh no they have it New York now too? It used to be the place that locals loved, then the tourist sites got word of it and they started making more. So sad. I went back to visit Florence last year and was excited to show my friends this and a gelateria that’s outside the tourist circle and known for claiming the original gelato recipe from the renaissance, and I was shocked while walking to our hostel in Barcelona (before going to Italy) to see that gelateria on the street there. They added a second Al’antico vinaio near the galleria dell’accademia as well, and it makes me sad to see things growing out of the quaint, cherished things they once were. Making franchises out of cultural/local gems stinks.
