Something is missing in terms of the face depth and 3D effect of the hour markers, the hands and the crystal all feels flat, I love GP and already have 2 in my collection but was always hesitant to pull the trigger even before the crazy hype.

Great review! I've found an unworn one for a good price - It's a black dial though my preference is green and then blue. I sold a GO SeaQ 300 pano date - Great watch but just a little too big for me. What size is your wrist? Many thanks

Excellent review! I have watched most the type XXI Reviews and this is really the best. I collect chronographs and you touched on several of the nuances that attracted me to this: the watch wears well, even on smaller wrists. The dome of the crystal and the lugs that wrap around enable this watch to ergonomically fit the wrist. The dial needs to be appreciated in person. The watch with the queened sides, and all the different finish surfaces, the bezel that is buttery smooth, but has still a satisfying click to it, the watch really is a beautiful object to hold. If you like chronographs, there’s really nothing like it. It’s a little bit of a stealth wealth watch to because it’s a brigade. Who doesn’t want to have a Breguet in their collection? This would be a fine example if you like to wear things casually like I do. You see now I’m rambling. Anyway, your review was excellent. Keep it up, I hope more people discover your channel.

Nice comparison. I bought the Ball Original for the Lume - I think it is the most elegant application of Tritium with the flat vials and sandwich construction. Looks much cleaner than the surface mounted cylinder tubes used in all other tritium dials. I hope Ball uses this technique in future watches. One comparison you did not note but can be seen in the dials is that the Ball has a much lower depth rating - 200M vs 500M for the others. This is low by Ball standards, many of their dive watches are 600M rated. I think the reason for the low rating (which suits my needs fine) is the flat tritium tubes in the bezel. A flat tube can withstand much less pressure than a cylinder tube. I will say I prefer the proportions on the Tudor. The Ball dial and bezel is a bit too big in diameter. A final note - there are some Ball Hydrocarbon Originals with Superlume vs Tritium in the Bezel. These were sold in Asia. If you have one of these it is fairly easy to upgrade to the Tritium bezel through Ball's service centers.

Great video. The Overseas solved the micro adjustment problem and integrated a great system. One of the reasons next to the quick strap change system why I went for the Overseas.

Breguet Type XX, XXI, XXII > Rolex Daytona all day everyday. Different Levels. Breguet should be up there with the Trinity. Breguet should join PP, VC & AP and make it a Quadrilogy. There is no haute horology in Rolexes. They are machined and mass produced. These Type XX Models are just done right, produced in lesser numbers and each Rotor is hand Guilloche finished
