I had tailor bunion surgery and the surgeon actually had to break the bone and then plate and screw the small toe in order to maintain alignment. I was in a cast and non weight bearing for 2 weeks then 6 weeks in a boot.

I had a complete ankle replacement and major tendon surgery. Pain? Ha . It hurt whenI had to start walking on it. Very little pain killer use. I finally went to a physical therapy facility that had a pool. That helped the most.
