If it had HK then yes we would’ve used the optical decoder. Sometimes we bypass original amp though.

@ oh but this isn’t mandatory right you can just get the deadlock fitted and go about your day without having to pay the subscription and still get the feature of no tag no access for your vehicle?

@@thomasnguyen6385 yes, however you will not get the option to completely immobilise your vehicle from the application which is a great layer of security

@@gregdurrans yes it does, you can either say Siri and let the magic word do its thing or you can push in the rotary dial for a long press and it will activate it this way. Thanks

I get that, we do have another option which is far more subtle and OE looking and it’s not a huge compromise on viewing angle or quality of picture.

Good Afternoon! Ill try and answer these questions the best I can. The Garmin Sat nav does not have Live Traffic built in as it does not have data connectivity or its own Sim. You can however have the Kenwood Traffic Application installed on your phone and when your phone is connected to the unit via bluetooth/wifi then the unit will give you live traffic on Garmin via this. I personally havent used this so can't comment how good it is when compared to live traffic via google for example though. Yes, android auto/apple carplay music will still work whilst you are using the Garmin Navigation and also whilst the Garmin navigation is being displayed on the screen, that also goes for any additional cameras you add.

@@gusnilsson6928 that’s it telling you vehicle or patrol is nearby! If it’s annoying you because you’re stuck in traffic near an emergency service vehicle you can mute it. However the LED’s and beeps are the main way it alerts you so they are there with good reason. That being said it went off more in this video as I had the kit on the most sensitive setting which you wouldn’t do as the end user and we also deliberately traveled to popular sites where ‘they’ are for the purpose of this video.

@@Adrenaline4real possibly… however because it doesn’t differentiate between each emergency service, would-be thieves wouldn’t be able to trust each detection nor could they 100% rely on it for this reason.

@@johnkleiscaraudio I would assume in my head, they would have to treat every detection as Police and use it for unmarked vehicles to avoid them as much as possible. Basically a radar, and as the radar goes towards green lights or fades off then they know they're in the clear. Emergency vehicles don't need to be in line of sight for this tech device to work do they? It's based off frequency waves. Maybe I'm reaching, but the thought had popped in my head.

I wouldn’t say you were reaching at all, I think it would be possible although I would guess that a lot of the time most thieves would use a stolen car to steal another car so doubt they would pay over £2,000 to get this device fitted in a stolen or temporary car. Perhaps if they could rig one up as a portable it could be used in this fashion though!

We’ve personally never used or installed one of the Atoto’s so wouldn’t be able to make that opinion.
