We learned Anne frank in our class so here is a little summary- Anne is a thirteen year old school girl who lives in FrankFurt am main and finds it hard to connect with her friends and family. She wishes she had a true friend to share her Innermost thoughts and feelings and the musings of her. Even though she has caring parents, a sister and a lot of friends, she still feel like she doesn't have anyone who she can truly rely on. While she can have fun with her friends she can't talk to them about anything serious. So, she starts a diary and pretends the diary is a friend and names it kitty. Writing in a diary helps her express her feelings. She also writes about her hopes and dreams for the future. Anne Frank shows that even witha seemingly perfect life she feels lonely nad isolated. Anne and her sister, Margot, were sent to Aachen to stay with their grandma. While her father the most adorable father and mother were immigrated to Holland aka netherlands where he became the Managing Director of the Dutch Opekta Company which manufactures products used in making jam. Her sister left and went to Holland in December. While in Aachen, Anne's 14th birthday was not celebrated much because her grandma was sick and recovering in an operation. And then she had to hide from the World War II, her feeling in her house depressed and listless so she starts writing in kitty and when i meant by kitty i meant by the diary. She starts to feel that paper has more patience than people. Anne Frank - 15 years old, June 12 1929 Margot Frank - 19 years old, February 16 1926 Otto Frank - 91 years old, May 12 1889 Edith Hollander - 44 years old, January 16 1900

You basically see the inside and can go in the shops and restaurants and watch other people do some of the activities, but most extra activities you have to pay for.

I LOVED Turkey! I went for 3 weeks in October 2020 as well. Cappadocia and Pamukale are really cool as well. Thanks, I started Scuba in High School lol.

Margot and Anne were beautiful girls, it's a shame their peace and happiness was robbed at such young ages. Anne's diary inspired me to start my own diary. Margot kept a diary too, but many say it was never found. I think that if Otto found her diary, he wouldn't have published it anyway, as Margot most likely did not want to publish hers.
Totally! I feel her book inspired many to write a diary and still does. So cool. I don’t think he would have published Margot’s either.

Awesome! Thanks Terra! Those sculptures are amazing. I've lived almost my entire life near the Pacific Ocean in California, so snow and ice are mysteries to me. I understand snow falling, but what about the ice? Do they make it or does it form naturally?
OMG! Of course! Love chatting with you! So it's from real ice! They do a whole video about it when you first get there. They take a lot of the ice that's either beside or on top of the water and transfer it over. I don't think I could have that job I would be frozen the whole time!

I loved it and the story and it just reminded me of reading the book as a kid and in school and I definitely think it's important part of history so that humans do not repeat themselves. War is horrible. Life is hard enough as it is....No one should have had to go through what they went through.
