AMMUNITION OVERVIEW: INSIGHTS FROM CANADIAN FIREARMS SAFETY HANDBOOKS
1. Rifling: The Science of Bullet Spin Rifling refers to the spiral grooves cut into the inside of a firearm’s barrel. These grooves cause the bullet to spin as it exits the barrel, much like a spiraling football. This spin increases the bullet's stability and accuracy in flight, improving aerodynamic efficiency.
2. Caliber: Understanding Measurements Caliber refers to the diameter of the bore of a firearm. The measurement system differs between imperial and metric standards:
Imperial system: Measures from land to land (the raised parts between grooves).

I know 2 people that lied on their gun possession application and got caught lying about there address, not having a spouse and allowing a friend to possess the others firearms and no charges were brought forth!!! Canada doesn’t apply any real importance to gun registrations!!!
Just because someone puts a spoiler and a ridiculously annoying exhaust system on their Honda civic, doesn’t make it a race car, just a ricer…..🤔😉👎🏻👎🏻🇨🇦🇨🇦
...sell something back that was never owned by them?....besides selling it to a murdering contemptuous slimeball corrupt government. No.
are these AI voices?
So. Everyone has been trading in things from the beginning if. Owning in an item. Restricts free trade for an other item.
you really need to STOP calling this FUBAR confiscation of guns a "Buy Back" .. the Gov. Never owned these guns ..ever, so call it what it is .. compensation for prohibited items that the gov. doesn't like the look of.
" Knowing your firearm " - Hi firearm ! Who are you ?
@@JohnSmith-nh9vr hey 👋 we are a training company located in BC🙂
one more reason why the west must become a TERRITORY of the USA with the same gun laws as MONTANA& ALASAKA
Pure political theatre !! Just more BS to add to the existing pile of nonsense.in Bill C21. The Liberals are simply throwing more manure on the wall hoping some of it will stick.... What really bugs me is the assumption that this has any merit at all. It simply doesn't....
Canada, dig in your heels and put a stop to the government over reach before you can't!
I am a Canadian licensed firearm owner, and I see no public safety rationale for not allowing me to carry and use a pistol anywhere that I can legally carry and use a rifle. Nobody has ever been able to justify this restriction to me, ever.
So in Canada you need a government permit to protect yourself from danger. Interesting.
Well, they want you to use a shotgun for predatory animal protection.
You've been phosed !
Kiss my what you poor Canadian sheep 🐑
Oh, I feel you, I’ve had very little luck myself with the limited entry hunts. But remember it’s a lottery so your chances of winning depends on the hunt you enter and Roosevelt elk is by far one of the most sought after. So your chances of winning are slimmer.
How does one get a draw for island Elk... I've (my brother, my dad and myself) have applied for Island LEH elk EVERY YEAR.... SO, what is that 150 years ... estimated... It would be so nice to get a island Elk before I am dead
Hi BC Firearms, am I allowed to use metal plinking targets in the bays shown in this video. I shoot .22LR and .22WMR bay2 onward. I was under the impression, metal targets were not allowed? Hope I’m wrong, it would be a lot of fun.
Unfortunately, no outside metal targets are allowed. The CFO has mandated that only club-provided steel targets may be used on all CFGPA ranges.
Makes sense, thanks so much…
@@everything.outdoors Anytime 🙂
Yep. Totally makes sense. To someone. Somewhere. Doing something.

Is that Jeff shooting?
It's Jason Couture. He's the president of the CFGPA and an awsome instructor at BC Firearms Academy.🙂
I want in!! How can I join!??
Would replica glock hand guns be allowed for this course/class
We would typically rent students a real firearm for the course. That said if it functions and can be reloaded like the live firearm then it would not be a problem. .
Hi, do you offer like tactical 12 gauge course..like drills? If so how can I find out more details? Thank you! I am in Langley
