Centre for Sustainability Leiden-Delft-Erasmus

The Leiden-Delft-Erasmus Centre for Sustainability is an interdisciplinary research centre in which three universities join forces: Leiden University, Delft University of Technology and Erasmus University Rotterdam. We work together to accelerate the transition towards a circular economy.
We believe that this transition asks for a systematic and holistic research approach. Researchers from different disciplines have work together. And we have to reach out to stakeholders from practice to understand the problems we have to tackle. That is why we have developed an open research format in our so called "Knowledge & Innovation Themes."

Maurice Jansen (senior researcher and business developer): Ports as a force for positive change
On Wednesday, October 9, Maurice Jansen joined us at the Circular Industries Talk. Maurice is senior researcher and business developer at Erasmus UPT, and co-founder of the LDE Centre Port City Futures. During his presentation, Maurice explained how ports and port cities can develop sustainably, striking a balance between economic and societal values.
