Oddly the original Fairy tails (Grims) were very dark and a bit bloody too.

Last week I was literally crying over Chikuwa, a dog that had died before the manga even began and has been a ghost for the duration of the story. In fact I think you have one of the panels on your scrolling background! Oomori Esu has found a way to make dogs die twice and I am weirdly here for it. I was crying looking at my phone and my wife was like "Sad news? Is it one of your parents?" and I felt silly explaining. Also I have a shibe of my own and Esu has really captured their character <3

I'm late but I have to say I'm so glad I found someone who spoke out how badly done the "humans' prejudice against Transformers" trope is done in Earthspark. The story wrote how "forgivable" the Decepticons are despite showing how ALL OF THEM does terrible things on screen without reason or remorse, deliberately proving their evil stereotypes true. From Swindle taking advantage of Mo and Thrash's kindness to the Seekers laughing when they thought they killed the Maltos in the Emberstone cave. Tarantulas is a near exception (read NEAR because he refused to listen to Nightshade even when they begged him not to wipe their parents' memories). Additionally, in the episode with Mandroid's moving hideout, Mandroid mentioned the Autobot Friendly Fire. Even though nothing clear is given, it can be implied that the tragedy is why the general population no longer trusts the Autobots and judges all Cybertronians in the same light regardless of their faction -- as invading warmongering aliens. I also hate hate HATE how this children's show blurs the difference between immigration of refugees and outright invasion. What kind of refugees bring their war into their new home? That's an invader thing. What kind of immigrants thinks they deserve to destroy and kill locals/natives just because they lost theirs? That's an invader thing! And apparently from the wonky written scene between Nightshade and the person they rescued from a mugger in "Home - part 1", being queer is the same as being an immigrant (in this show's case, being an invader). I'm not queer by any means but I know an individual choice in self-identity is nowhere close to being forced to leave home because of a war. Just WOW. What a way to spit in the face on real victims of war, Earthspark writers...

This chapter shows how Hoshina's could have been drastically different as both Mina and Gen saw potential in Soshiro and wants him to be in their division, it just too bad that Mina found him first. It is crazy how everyone wants Soshiro, from the Strongest Division Captain to the battle maniac Kaiju No. 10

Another interesting idea is that if K0 is an ancient kaiju that took over another kaiju why can’t 8 be the same. When 9’s core was destroyed K0 emerged, so if K8 core is destroyed we might see the original K8 that weakened K0 enough to be sealed? But that would mean Kafka would be “dead” but his mind would still reside within 8’s body. Massive power up for Kafka but it’s no long “his” body so he can’t suppress K8 like he has done so far in the story. Thoughts? Also this mean a whole new level of K8 rampage one that isn’t limited by Kafka’s human body.

There are multiple things I noticed from previous chapters after this one. 1 is how almost every attack 9 did during the story besides Isao revolves around Mina. Yet 9 himself didn’t quite understood himself like he was being guided. Another point is the human in side 9 seem to be very special kinda like Mina, I think they had a special ability kinda like how Mina can wield a tremendous amount of Kaiju tissue and efficiently release that energy and they were aiming for those abilities. 9 even mentions that even he can’t escape it in chapter 103.

Just keep overanalyzing!

I think there's room for Helm to be a flawed character, without "subverting expectations" in the modern sense. Maybe he is fed up of Rohan being second string to Gondor, and is plotting a dynastic coup where Hera marries the Gondorian heir. This happened long ago with a princess of Wilderland, setting off a civil war. I expect this storyline would horrify the "purists". I wouldn't mind it though if Helm gets a redemption arc, paying for his mistakes with his life. I have the impression there is an anti-war message in here somewhere. Suppose Hera eventually gets Wulf at her mercy but spares him, renounces her claim to the throne, wedding bells, peace breaks out, happy ever after. It would be rather an old-fashioned story, not the kind we are used to.

We will find out in the next kaiju no 8...

All I can say is I certainly didn't see any of this coming....

When writing a comment, you have one sentence to grab the attention of the reader. If this observation is itself the introduction of your comment, it's usually a bad idea to spend the next few sentences elaborating on it, explaining how you learned it from your mother and so on -- hey where did everyone go? Sorry, this is really a great analysis. I'd caught the better pacing of the Japanese trailer, and that it engaged one's emotions in a way the other one didn't, but I hadn't figured out the reasons why :-))

Another interesting tibit is Kaiju no8’s power lies in counter Kaiju abilities such as Regeneration. Would not surprise me if 8’s blow throughout the fight has been wearing out the grip 9 had on his composite components atleast a little bit.

Hmm now that is quite the twist, humans trying to harness the power of the kaju by turning them into weapons to fight other kaiju, all the while battling with the essence/spirit of said kaiju for dominance and the right to use said power, and yet we also have the kaiju themselves trying to harness the power of humans to use in battle against other humans all the while battling said essence/spirit of said human for dominance and the right to use their power. *phew* don't try to say that all in one go too fast. As for where the story goes from here, I personally hope they move on in terms of antagonists from Number 9, i'm not saying kill him off but I would like to see some new threat that would maybe go on to expand the story and give us a greater view of the rest of the world in kaiju No8. Also the chapters are way too short for me, just when i'm really getting into things the chapter comes to an end, I often don't even realise how many pages have passed by before it ends. 😄 -Duke

More often than not, the second generation didn't put any effort into dealing with the traumas caused by the PTSD of the first generation. If the third generation escapes, they are still traumatized, but more often than not, they were able to finally recognize the pattern, and put steps in to separate themselves from it, but just saying "In an ideal world" is an oversimplification that does a large disservice for the people who had to actively choose to not give in to the abuse, and put action in, and claiming "Oh, the second generation did..." The second generation of the same trauma point you are bringing up is what enabled the second generation to say "We were treated like shit, so you will too" and just looking at the economic situation around us, where survival of the fittest, rather than the survival of the community, is viewed as a virtue. "In an ideal world" is to ignore reality, and that reality, is that without outside sources to actively influence a person away from indulging their traumas to traumatize others, the cycle isn't over in three, it never ends.

You need to teach what the word give means saying it over and over isn’t gonna do anything throw the ball have some shredded chicken on you and when she comes with the ball to you, give her the chicken throw the ball again and say the word you want to associate with her giving you the ball before you reward her with the chicken, hope this helps❤

There is a couple notable points between the spirits numbered suits sees and Kafka. The kaiju of the numbered suits are dead and they essentially see the muscle memory of the kaiju flesh given manifest. No8 is still alive so that aspect doesn’t quite match. It’s seems more like No8 is trying to get Kafka’s attention since we know Kafka has been essentially suppressing it this whole time. It reminds me of white Ichigo from bleach, especially the whole the blade is me part of it.

I can't wait for the season, but I do worry about how they are gonna adapt some of the powers.
