Singapore is better than all cities in Australia combined. All the big cities like Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane, and Perth look the same. Man, just the sight of Singapore's 'Merlion' facing the 'Marina Bay Sands' is enough proof that it's the best!

Kuala Lumpur is a city that lack of trees buffering and shading as part of the pedestrian sidewalk planning. Especially the bukit Bintang and China town area, it is hot and terrible. The road is also full of noisy and polluting motorbikes cutting lines and changing lanes, which is dangerous.

Males rank 150% higher in car accident death rates sitting at 246 deaths whereas females sit at 95 for 2023. 341 deaths on NZ roads for 2023. 341 to many. 2023 totals for road deaths in NZ Cyclist = 9. Driver = 182. Motorcyclist 53. Passengers = 72. Pedestrian = 25. Overall the total road deaths for the Main NZ centers in NZ totalled 279 = AKL/BOP/Canterbury/Manawatu/Northland/Waikato WGTN did not total in with a low rate of deaths for 2023 @ 15 deaths on there roads for 2023. The waikato faired not much better as we know from other regions with 67 deaths on NZ roads the worst of the totals for 2023. Canterbury road deaths sit just shy of the AKL 2023 total at 45. Auckland total deaths on the road abysmal at 47 for 2023. Highest death rates for Auckland roads sits at 111 deaths for 2021/2022 combined.

Ahhh yes my town

That first 9 minutes was an unnecessarily long, round-about way of getting into the city from SH5. From the intersection of Lake Road and SH5, you should have just turned left. That would have taken you to Lake Rd/ Ranolf St junction, and then you could have turned left again (narrowish road) and that takes you direct down to the city "Waterfront Reserve" at the bottom of the city. Probably 2 minutes only. You can follow this route easily on "Google Maps" looking up "Rotorua", and magnifying and moving about as needed.

Home of possibly the worst drivers in NZ. No etiquette. Struggle with the concept of merging. Letting someone in, following distance/ love to tailgate - especially if driving a ute. I swear it must be in the ute driver manual that you are required to tailgate.
