What happened in 2010?

I’m not sure when is the last time you purchased a home but just so you know lender take into account all your financial obligation before giving a mortgage. They factor in student loans even if for those who are not in repayment. That means people who bought their homes during the pandemic were really able to afford the homes. Check your facts!

Honestly, I’d love to see housing for back to what it was before this insane market but I think you’re wrong on this one. I don’t think housing will ever go back down. People will probably start asking a little less and houses might sit a little longer but there’s not going to be a big boom of people selling their houses and going upside down on their mortgages.

@@TheTrueNateHustle Actually in 2008 you didn’t need to be able to afford the house. Lenders were using stated income. That means you just had to say that you work and they would give you a loan without checking. But all that have changed. It’s actually very difficult to get a mortgage now. See you don’t even know the facts. Tell me honestly, have you ever bought a house?

As long as Institutional investors remain in the market, home costs will remain high. Until the market for new homes matches that consumption, the market will remain high. Once those buyers get their fill, and their portfolios fill with condemned assets, the market will collapse again. You realtors are like taxi drivers before Uber. Fannie and Freddie are coming for your jobs.

They starting @ 737k now. I’m looking @ toll brothers also a little south of this location . But as you see this house with the upgrades, a little over 800k.

Plus when some one who is a prospective buyer wants to see a house tour video (ex: client out of state) they want to see the house as if they were in it. Your to close to things. No one would bend down and look through the rails to see downstairs. When you did look down it was a straight down shot for way to long. Need panoramic shots.
