ET really succeeded at his goal. I listened to an interview where he discussed Salsa at the time not having a broad platform on the stage of professional dances. Well today the level of performance dance in this genre has exploded not just in NYC but across the world. It’s quite a lesson to have a vision and plot a course to succeed and of course not giving up. That takes a lot of consistent and tireless work. He set an excellent example not just for artists with a vision but for anyone who wants to succeed and accomplish their goals and dreams.

I never get tired of watching this video. The beginning it feels like I was there but I wasnt its the same fellings even though It wasnt me. Some how it all feels to real. We lived the same time only across the Hudson River in Jersey City my love for dance lives within me forever.

The sign of a master teacher is that each dancer has their own style and individual identity within the style. It’s really a fantastic thing to see. There isn’t one copy of ET in his entire company of dancers. They each have their own style of putting the movement forth. What a great accomplishment ❤

I often wonder whether Eddie studied composition of dance choreography or whether it was just something that came naturally to him. He really understands how to compose a choreography. I wonder 🤔❤

Fabulous music! Charanga Colonial recorded in 1981 with half SAR Records and half Orquesta Broadway musicians! And what an incredible job Flutist Eddy Zervigón did on such long tracks! They also recorded together an album the year before in 1980 titled Ritmo de Estrellas!
