1:29 I remember I quoted "To be or not to be" and my teacher told me to carry on. I said "that is the question". She said keep going so I did "Whether tis nobler..." I've never felt so smug in my life. Amazing
I’m curious how the fanbase would consider each *character’s* acting skills. I genuinely believe Johnathan and Annie are some of the better actors in the troupe.
I don't love the episode as a whole, but I like a lot of the in universe character stuff that comes out that they couldn't do in a normal episode. Max and Dennis have a nice relationship for instance. One I particularly is Chris steps in to stop Robert taking over and ruining Vanessa's bit, which is really nice and maybe shows why they usually let him be director, and then his need for precision makes him ruin it. Which in universe is very deep as well as being very funny, "Two hands!!"

Poor Max...no wonder he cries so easily around Chris and Robert...
It’s hard to focus on the question “what is the difference between acting and not acting?”, when struggling so with the question “what is the difference between Robert Grove and Matt Berry?”
Love that you can tell it's Henry Shields saying Hull every time
I still haven't learned anything about acting. I want my money back! I paid a Nigerian Prince for this.
Unnderstudyyy
hilarity
As an Actor myself This is quite accurate
To be or to be not be. 7. To be or-
...a laugh track really drains the comedy out of a genius skit.
they're literally supposed to be performing to the audience
I did some theater stuff at Uni... I have known several Roberts.
I love that Chris's read of "To be, or not to be" is the most convincing of the lot, but Robert hates him so much he considers him the worst actor in the entire troupe
Wrong again down you go
Dreadful, down 2 places
It might have just been a setup so he could repeatedly humiliate Chris by making him move down the line, but I like the interpretation that he just took the opportunity in the moment and despite hating him sincerely thought he was the 3rd best actor there (behind himself)
3:27 the WAY HE SENDS IT FLYING LOL
Man could give Matt Berry a run for his money
7:11 I felt so bad for Max in that part. Chris just gave him a death stare while Robert's just concerned. I think Max deserves more attention.
It's a shame this show was canceled. I really thought that for season 3, we would see what happened with Vanessa and Dennis because of the proposal. I'm sure that Vanessa told him the truth after this episode, but the fact that he said this is the first time he has ever been happy, imagine what they would have been like together in the future.
I really love The Goes Wrong Show.
Vanessa delevers the line too well, so Robert sabatoges her by making her improv, knowing she can do it since he's her life coach. I mean maybe just to get his next running at the audience lesson in, but either way he definately did it on purpose. Lol
3:05 Note that in Annie’s play, Robert’s character is wearing a rather large hat. I’d like to think that’s Annie getting back at Robert in the most polite way possible.
Hull
This show makes me emotionally safe
I used to work at a bakery and every day when I’d get home from work my Dad would say “‘Ello Marjorie ‘ow’s the bread today?” and I’d say “Lusty” lol. I love that bit so much.
Did you live in Hull?
I forgot how much I love the show that goes wrong 😂 the only useful part of this is the audience. He is more scared of you than you are of them is actually really good tip for stage fright.
the tear gas in chris's face and his annoyance at robert makes me laugh so much!
The way Dennis looks at the audience in everything, as if contemplating his own existence’s absurdity, is something I live for
6:28 did anyone else notice that Dennis knew off the top of his head which was saddest eye but everyone else had to think about it pffft
this show is so underrated omg i need more

Denis is too adorable! Ahhh he’s so dumb but in a way that he’s trying his best, the fact he can remember everyone else’s lines except for his own is hilarious. I also love it when he and Vanessa share scree time.
Understudy.
I like how Robert was concerned for Max when he saw how much he filled the thing with his tears. That was really the one time Robert was ever nice to Max. Robert of course then wanted everyone to be emotionally safe right then and there.
@@GregJamesMusic Oh yeah! I completely forgot about that!
I feel so bad for Max at that part.
@@samanthacorona3810 It's implied he's split up with Sandra, maybe it's to do with that.
The most unbelievable thing in this entire series is Vanessa asking Robert to be her life coach
And what is so unbelievable about that? Are you saying that I don't have my life together? Are you saying that I'm a failed actor too big for his britches, and that's saying a lot because of how big my britches are? Are you calling me a talentless hack with a noisome presence who veritably suffocates the real talent surrounding me with my overbearing, but underachieving stature? Are you trying to imply that the Cornley Polytechnic Drama Society would be better off if I were to retire, preferably by leaping off a bridge in the middle of the noon, leaving shocked bystanders gathered over my shattered corpse going 'oh no, this is terrible, how could this happen, we all loved Robert, he had so much raw potential to give the world, definitely more than Chris, but now, like glistening dew-dropped sunflowers in the dead cold of twisted winter, his time has been cut short too soon?', while I monologue about the brevity of mortality and reassure them that all good things, truly, must come to an end? Is that it? Is that what you're trying to say? How dare you! You're exactly like my ex-wife. She's an ex for a reason, you know. Because she was RIGHT. *sob sob sob*
You see, everyone, there’s good acting and then there’s bad acting. And then there’s Robert. Robert is a complex individual with simple motivations. A man who simply wanted that audience to hit that D flat, to have that door open for him, or to be a relevant trumpeter. Within his ginormous bosom beats the heart of a man who simply wants to be seen and heard and smelt, who wants us to take him unto our bosom without hugging him. And yet, the only woman he loved has sat on his face with her divorce boots, and now he’s cursed to forever wander this lonely earth, being forever known as being unknown. Good night, sweet prince.

“…..The worst of the lot!”
Medically fascinating and "are you alright?" are my absolute favorites, aside from the completion of chekovs gun, but that wasnt in this video.
8:01 The End?
For some reason, this reminds me of Studio C's Crayon Song Gets Ruined... Probably the shirts
I ONCE ATE A BUG THAT WAS THE COLOR GREEN AND THE E.R. SAID IT WAS A POISONOUS THING AND THAT EXPLAINS WHY I THREW UP GREEN AND INSIDE THAT GREEN THERE WERE CHUNKS OF GREEN ... ... ... HOORAY!!

Thank you for watching this public service announcement about why you should literally never take advice from Robert Grove. Or work with him if you can help it.
not “Chekov’s Gun” ! 😂
Broke down crying at "Fart inspector!"and her reaction. Not to mention "Hull"every few seconds, "The Far East....of HULL." XD
