Few clarification 1) Sigmar and Nagash have a very intimate relationship going back to the world that was. At one point even sharing the same mind when sigmar was a barbarian chief and Nagash a shattered lich, in a few novels it's hinted that Nagash hasn't recovered from being shattered again and Sigmar has pity towards him. 2) the Vaults weren't just forts they also had mechanisms that made you forget they existed if you were near them(though any further detail gets into spoilers). 3 ) the sacrosanct chamber is a bit dark in origins it is tasked with destroying StormCast souls unworthy of reforging and aid in the workings of things like the Anvil which Sigmar didn't create but was given by former allies.

A Genie Warlock dip on a Wizard gets even crazier if you take two levels of Warlock to get invocations, specifically Armor of Shadows which lets you cast Mage Armor at will without spending any spellslots. All your other levels are in Abjuration Wizard. The second level feature for an Abjuration Wizard is called Arcane Ward which basically gives you a "second health bar" separate from your hit points and Temp hit points. Any damage you take has to first go through your Arcane Ward, then your Temp hit points, then it finally gets to affect your actual hit points. Arcane Ward is refreshed with any Adjuration spell you cast, which you can do with Mage Armor for free as much as you want. Warlocks also get the best spell for buffing your Temporary hit points in the game with Armor of Agathys at 5 hit points per level of spell slot, so upcast to fifth level is 25 temp hit points and does 25 Damage to the enemy with no save. Warlocks also have access to Hellish Rebuke which is a reaction spell that starts at 2d10 damage whenever you get hit, with another 1d10 per slot level after that. Warlocks also have Blade Ward on their spell list which gives resistance to Slashing, Piercing, and Bludgeoning damage, including from magical weapons. This effectively halves incoming damage before it gets to your Ward or Temp hit points. Wizards have Shield, Absorb Elements, and when they get fourth levels spells, Fire Shield which gives resistance to either fire or cold damage, and more importantly does 2d8 damage to whatever hit you, with no save. If you start as either variant human, or custom lineage to get a free feat right at the start, pick Artificer Initiate. This lets you choose a cantrip, and a first level spell from the Artificer spell list and uses intelligence as the casting stat. For the spell choose Cure Wounds. Now on top of all the shenanigans with the portable demiplane, including using your familiar(owl) to fly off with the ring with you inside it if you need to escape, you can also simply stand in the middle of a pack of enemies and watch them all die from hitting you... and if you do happen to take damage, just use Cure Wounds on yourself. Since your concentration is still free at this point, one of the best spells to use with this build is Melf's Minute Meteors. You are busy using your action on Blade Ward so Melf`s lets you use your bonus action to do damage instead...

Well.. grim dark is the essence of 40k.. that's where the expression grim dark comes from... I just don't understand why people would like to get into 40k but would be "agaisnt the idea of grim dark"... I mean... I know that, again, for commercial reasons, GW pretends Space Marines are good boys.. and people buy it... but the Imperium in the most horrific totalitarian fascist society ever, that's the point of the setting, that's a satire of fascism, and space marines are transhuman combat drugged Waffen SS degenerate crazy mutants who are on an eternal genocide crusade. Their job is genocide. That's what they do. They are not saviors, they are mass murderers. Most of them don't even like the humans they're meant to save (when the don't crush them). The whole point of the setting is to be as nightmarish as possible. If you make the Space Marines good boys.. well you are just glorifying fascism. You're just doing the nazi's propaganda. Yes there is only war, and we are genociding everything that exists and that is not us... but look at that handsome boy in shiny armor ! The armor is designed by Hugo Boss and the good boy in it is going to save the day, by exterminating a population for the glory of the superior race and for our eternal God-Empfurher ! Such a good boy ! Yes there are less evil characters than others, some even have good intentions, but what is intresting in that setting, is that hell is paved with good intentions, and you can exterminate an entiere race because you think it's the good thing to do because you've been endoctrinated to think that or maybe because the autoritatian political mess around you make so less sense that you have no choice but doing it, and also maybe by doing it you doomed yourself anyway for some other political reasons with another faction idk. Life is fcccing cruel, but fascism is the wrong answer to it as it turns whatever you wanted to save into a hell, also kindness won't save you from the Tyranids. 40k is about that more than about heroes backflipping, kicking the bad guy in the neck and saving the day. And when it is are you ready to applaud a wehrmacht soldier for finding where the jxws are hiding?

If I had to make an analogy with Lord of The Rings, it's like if the company who owns the IP of Lord of The Rings decided, now that the thing is a common cultural phenomenon, that, finally Sauron is back and is now a god of evil because he farted a very loud spell, and Aragorn, for some reason (that won't be expained simply because get off my back please), becomes a god of good and is joined in his godhood by a hero of each race, like I don't know, Bilbo is now the god of birthday parties, and the hobbits and the surviving Uruk-Hai fight together against the Haradrims which are now so powerfull they invade all Middle Earth, and their lord becomes the Haradrim Oliphant god of war, then there is a earth shake and every race is separated from the others in a magic bubble and there are magical portals between each bubble. And also hobbits, men and uruk hais live peacefully together in a big city and also Elves becomes soulless vampire fishes, because we didn't know what to do with them. I mean, it could be a random cool setting by itself... but why doing that to Lord of the Rings ???? Why did you have to do that ??? Why ??? And now nobody knows about Lord of the Rings anymore, and everybody's like ""The Age of the Oliphant is so cool, I love that setting, I heard about the Ring something... but from what I saw I think it was so ugly""... and you're like ""yeah, so so ugly 2000's...haha the movies at the time... so ugly... (crying inside)""

Basicaly AoS is hated because Warhammer Fantasy was THE fantasy wargame, it was a common cultural phenomenon, not just a game, uniting millions of people around a setting and a ultra fun game which embodied all the great classics of fantasy both seriously and ironically. It was the perfect mix of a dark, deep and serious universe and a caricature of all the fantasy stereotypes, and all within a coherent and well-written framework. It was perfection. They deleted ALL THAT, all that common culture, that common property of the people, they reminded everybody how intellectual private and lucrative property worked in a capitalist economy, the threw everything in the crusher, the dreams and passions of millions of people, because some CEO felt like it would make good impression before the shareholders to renew GW commercial strategy, and, above all, not having anymore anything that was not lucrative property, so no more classic and good old Orcs, Elves and Goblins, no no no, that's not copyrighted, welcome to the Iron Jaws (r), they live in they space time buble and there is no more a good old world map, a classical fantasy world map where you can relate like someone who lives on a planet, no every body is in a magical buble, the campaigns ? And political intrigues ? Well people teleport their armies through magical portals. Just hire a few writers to justify destroying a world in which millions of people placed their dreams, even if it is completely inconsistent with established lore in this universe, and to quickly build a new universe in which everything is copyrighted, magic copyright bubbles. No more common culture! Now it will be lucrative cultural bubbles ! And make everything super epic even if it makes no sense and is ridiculous (in a bad way). If people like space marines in the future they will like space marines in the past and, anyway, no matter what we do there will be people to buy it. Young people have no critical thinking, they don't know what's good, if you throw enough of a thing in their face they'll like it. Moreover the game is not even the same, in terms of rules only. It's not a classic regimental wargame and it lacks so much of the fun and humor that characterized Warhammer Fantasy Battle, a humor that was largely based on the fact that Orcs were Orcs, Elves were Elves and it was a constant game with all these clichés which was an integral part of the rules and ways of playing these armies. If you like AoS, despite everything I said above, very good for you, I wish you a very good time with this game and I have no anger towards the players and the people who discovered the wargame with this game. I simply regret the disappearance of a common cultural phenomenon, and that this disappearance did not take place through a "natural" cultural evolution (it is normal for culture to evolve and change) but that the global cultural landscape (concerning fantasy and wargaming) be dispossessed of gigantic wealth and something that united millions of people by the decision of a CEO to please shareholders. And the most pathetic thing in all of this, which shows the total absurdity of this economic system, is that even economically it was a ridiculous decision to remove Warhammer Fantasy Battle at the time when Total War Warhammer was going to introduce this universe, condemned by GW, to new millions of people. It was ridiculous. Ridiculous ! Capitalism in all its glory, short term decisions, because shareholders are not GW shareholders, they're just shareholers, if GW cannot convince them that there will be more dividends in the next quarter, they will sell the stock and buy shares in Total or Wallmart. Most probably just have no idea what GW does, what are they selling? Plastic toys uh ? you say you're going to renew all the plastic toys ? Will you sell more of them then ? That's what I want to know. What are the profit prospects over the next three months? This is the one question every listed company must answer, no matter the costs for the rest of the world.

the great horned rat was around during the old world but was only a minor god and not one of the big 4. after slaanesh was captured he took her place but the other gods still see him as a upstart and archaon even insulted him when he tried to offer him a blessing slaanesh is currently imprisoned but due to a character named morathi is slowly breaking free. also i would recommend Every Age of Sigmar Army by heywoah for a quick rundown of all the playable factions

age of sigmar is a sequel/reboot of the original warhammer fantasy series. due to multiple issues such as poor sales and lack of new players games workshop ended it with a final campaign called the end times where chaos won and destroyed the world age of sigmar was designed to be easier to get into and so far its doing well

wotc probably did ask him who his source is, but the guy doesn't want to narc on him in a video. As opposed to just sending an email, they do need to get the product back so it doesn't go "oops missing in the mail" or that he delays it, as it is a time sensitive product with other reviewers. They don't know him, they don't if he will send everything back that they want. He was surprised they took the foil and boxes, but there could be watermarks to indicate possible distribution routes/packages.
