For my own amusement, I decided to start filming myself doing projects. I am not a master at woodworking nor was I ever taught by anyone. Anything I know comes from watching other RUclips videos. I do not expect anyone to really watch these or that I will build a fan base.

Patriotic World War Gun Case
Просмотров 1252 года назад
This is not a safe, it is a case. I am aware that someone could kick it open, that is not the point. It will be put in room that is safe. Regardless it has a lock that can keep kids out. Made many mistakes and learned a lot with this one but overall and mostly happy with the results. Music by Joystock - www.joystock.org
Lathe Stand Work Table(reupload)
Просмотров 5 тыс.6 лет назад
I uploaded this before but my voice was horrible so I put music over it. I got tired of my lathe taking up my whole workbench so I made a separate stand for it. This was my first time trying to do tenons like that, they came out kinda poor but gets the job done.
Classical Whisky Display Case
Просмотров 3577 лет назад
This small box was kind of a design test for a much larger liquor cabinet which would have more design into it and a flat top. I love trying to implement classical architecture into my woodworking. I would love to see more people trying to do stuff like that. If you know any really cool classical designs in peoples woodworking, I would love to see it. Very First Dovetail Box
Просмотров 21 тыс.7 лет назад
the wood here is poplar and walnut, I thought they looked good together so I had to do something special for the box. This is my very first dovetailed box. I made the table saw sled and did 2 or 3 practice dovetails before trying the box. I felt to reduce the chances of making a mistake that I would do 1 large dovetail on each side instead of a few. The joint is far from perfect but for my firs...

I came up with this idea for someone who is a crazy pug person. If you know someone who loves pugs, this is a very easy very special thing to make them. Here is my very professional detailed drawing I made for the shape of the pug. www.mediafire.com/file/oo7aa6t2dyeo60l/001.jpg Music Used: Whitestick by S Strong soundcloud.com/stelios_strong Creative Commons - Attribution 3.0 Unported- CC BY 3....

Making An Artisan Executive Fountain Pen - How To
Просмотров 2,1 тыс.7 лет назад
My first attempt at making a fountain pen, or any other pen then a slim line for that matter. I am rather impressed with it. I am again not sure what kind of wood this is, its out of a random assortment of fancy wood. This pen specifically is a wedding gift to my sisters husband and I will be making more for the groomsmen. Like and sub for more! Here is the list of everything I needed to make t...
Beginner pen turning: First Slim line pen!
Просмотров 4737 лет назад
I ended up buying the incredibly useful starter pen turning kit from Rockler. www.rockler.com/starter-pen-turning-kit This thing was always sold out and took a while to get. Im not sure what kind of wood is used here. A friend gave me a large box of exotic wood scraps, great size fro pens. I am hoping to start selling these pens soon, if anyone has any suggestions on doing that or reasonable pr...
Build It: Beginner turning making a cup out of firewood

Ferdinand frank tries to turn a bowl on the lathe, accidentally made a cup. This is what happens when you want to turn a bowl but do not want to watch a tutorial. I fail, but the cup is cool..

Hate the music
Brilliant...
Love this. I think this is about the level I’m at and seeing you build this beautiful box helps give me ideas and confidence to do my own build with my current skills and tools. Great video and thanks for sharing it! The box looks really great.
Nice work!
Nice craftsmanship
Love the poster in the background. Subbed

this sucks!
Absolutely love this design. I was looking for a good, easily built design and I think this is it. Well done. My work space is extremely cramped and I live in an area that has beautiful weather about 9 months of the year. It will be nice to take the work outside.
How does it write?
I stopped watching when I saw the footwear and a circular saw on the floor.
Lol
@@brettpfeil2938 It wouldn't be funny if you amputated a few toes.
@@almollitor it would be lolarous
USE A PUSH STICK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
NICE SHORTS GAYO
Very nice build! Do you still have the lathe and cart, and do you still like them both?
Yes I do. That brand of lathe has worked very well for me, and so has the cart. I would like to put real wheels on and foot peddle to lift it up and down though.
Beautiful! But dude.. you need a sturdy bench with vices!!!
Why not saw the end off first then the big chunk instead of putting it on that janky clamp garbage 🤔
You tried to make a bowl but made a cup?......humm
This guy not heard of a chainsaw? Jesus my arm is tired just watching.
Nicely done!
Dude... STOP!!!!! i dont mean to come off like a jerk or a know it all, but this literally was a "how to" of everything NOT to do. Please take a lesson or watch some of the real wood turners such as Mike Mahoney, Mike Waldt, Lyle Jaimeson, Stuart Batty, Carl Jacobson, Sam Angelo, Glen Lucas, etc.... they ALL are great teachers/examples of safe and proper wood turners.
Chances are with the wood being green it wasn't dry enough to give much resistance to the jaw pressure. Squeezing moisture out and it's shrinking just enough to come loose. Cup looked good. Sometimes the best things are made by accident. Let the wood tell you what it's going to be
Are these for Sale??
Wood stain sealer would have worked wonders on your finish and the inside cloth needs to go down further in the cut outs and tucked underneath the backside. You can see the ragged edges of the cloth and bits of bare unstained wood. Small details can make or break an otherwise great project.
Not bad at all for fire time doing tenons and making due with the tools you have! I was told the first time doing that to do most of the finishing by hand to knife edges for best results... and was also told to go make 100 tenons and it would start to click. Practice is key!
I was fearing for your fingers for a moment there.
I wish I could saw that fast. =D
make build it 2

I may be drunk and I'm already home so jokes on you boyyyy!
djd324 WELLLL I second that statement as I drunkenly watch marvel movies!
Nice 150 shirt
I have to do the same thing to my riving knife. Dam thing is always getting caught.
Luke G I need to either fix it or get rid of it. At this point it's just a safety hazard that to keep putting a hand on it.
Update: Everything about this video is terrible.
Jeffrey Taylor alright yea I’ll take that haha
Cool project
Thanks Sean
chapotinnnn
I have the same lathe and chuck, your tenon is was too big shoot for about 2 , 2 1/4 inches and a slight taper to match the jaws with a square face for the jaws to butt against. I have found a recessed tenon with the jaws in expansion mode works much better if you can live with the finished piece having a hollow in the bottom.
Canadian Rye Whisky* display case.
Nope! just that Kentucky Bourbon my dude.
that's your first?! jeez louise...
Looks great man
Do you have plans showing the sled build?
The sled build I used is pretty much this but I put it on a table saw instead. ruclips.net/video/nfuEik2ak00/видео.html
